Cedar Point landmark celebrates centennial

When it opened on June 12, 1905, the Hotel Breakers was one of Ohio's most luxurious hostelries.

Guests at entrepreneur George Boeckling's grand new resort enjoyed its ornate, five-story rotunda, its lakefront beach, and 600 guest rooms with such amenities as nine-foot ceilings and sinks with running water.
