2004 Cedar Point season passes available at lowest prices

SANDUSKY, Ohio, Sept. 2, 2003 - Summer is almost over, but it is never too early to start dreaming about the thrills that are in store next year at Cedar Point. Voted the "Best Amusement Park in the World," Cedar Point amusement park/resort has announced that its 2004 Regular Season Pass will go on sale at its lowest price available - $85!

Guests who purchase a 2004 Combo Season Pass get two great parks - Cedar Point and Soak City - for the low price of $135. Junior Combo Season Passes will also be available for only $70. These limited-time offers are only available from Saturday, Sept. 6 through Friday, Nov. 14. (The $85 Cedar Point Regular Season Pass is valid for guests ages 3 and older, 48 inches or taller.) Parking Passes are available at the discounted price of $35 until Nov. 14 if purchased with a Season or Combo Pass.

Back and better than ever will be the popular Joe Cool Club. For an additional $15, guests who purchase a 2004 Cedar Point Regular Season Pass can join this exclusive, members-only club that includes perks such as special morning and evening ride time on selected roller coasters, discounts on food and merchandise, the option of having your parking pass on your ID and much more! Guests who purchase a 2004 Combo Season Pass before Friday, Nov. 14 will get a FREE Joe Cool Club membership.

Season Pass and Combo Season Pass certificates can be purchased at the Cedar Point Season Pass Center, located at the park's main entrance, on Saturdays and Sundays, Sept. 6, 7, 13 and 14 from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.

During HalloWeekends, the Season Pass Center will be open from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays, and from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Sundays, Sept. 19-21, 26-28, Oct. 3-5, 10-12, 17-19 and 24-26. It will be open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Oct. 1-2, 6-9, 13-16, 20-23, 27-31, Nov. 3-7 and 10-14.

Season Pass and Parking Pass certificates can also be ordered by telephone, fax, mail or the Internet. Beginning Monday, Sept. 8, telephone orders will be accepted from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday only, by calling 419.627.2309. Mail orders should be sent to: Cedar Point Season Pass Center, One Cedar Point Drive, Sandusky, OH 44870-5259. All mail orders should be postmarked no later than Friday, Nov. 14 to receive the sale price. Fax orders can be placed by calling 419.627.2347. Internet orders can be completed by logging on to cedarpoint.com. A $3 handling fee will be added for standard delivery on all phone, fax and mail orders. The handling fee for online orders is determined by the shipping method selected.

Season Passholders will be able to use their pass for admission to any of Cedar Point's five sister parks: Michigan's Adventure near Muskegon, Mich.; Dorney Park & Wildwater Kingdom in Allentown, Pa.; Knott's Berry Farm in Buena Park, Calif.; Valleyfair in Shakopee, Minn.; and Worlds of Fun in Kansas City, Mo. Combo Passholders will be able to use their pass for admission at each of those parks and Oceans of Fun water park in Kansas City, Mo.; Soak City U.S.A. in Buena Park, Calif.; Soak City U.S.A. in Chula Vista, Calif.; and Soak City U.S.A. in Palm Springs, Calif.
