SANDUSKY, Ohio, Sept. 28, 2005 – Cedar Point amusement park/resort, recently voted the “Best Amusement Park in the World” for a record eight consecutive years, has announced that its 2006 Regular Season Pass (ages 3-61, 48” and taller) will go on sale at the lowest price available - $89! Guests can also take advantage of brand new discounts for Juniors (ages 3-61, under 48 inches tall) and Seniors (age 62 and over). Both Junior and Senior Season Passes will be offered for a new low price of $45!
Thrill-seekers looking to get more fun for their money will have the opportunity to purchase a 2006 Regular Two-Park Pass which includes admission to Cedar Point and Geauga Lake & Wildwater Kingdom in Aurora, Ohio. For $114, guests will be able to enjoy more than 150 rides and attractions, including an amazing combined total of 26 roller coasters between both parks. Junior and Senior Two-Park Passes are $70 each.
The summer’s best deal will be the 2006 Cedar Point Combo Pass that includes unlimited use of Cedar Point and Soak City for the low price of $144. Combo Passes also include unlimited use of all Cedar Fair, L.P. amusement and waterparks. Junior and Senior Combo Passes are $75. Guests who purchase a Combo Pass by Nov. 11 will also receive a FREE Joe Cool Club membership.
If you want to enhance your Season Pass, the Joe Cool Club is just for you. For an additional $15, guests who purchase a 2006 Cedar Point Season Pass can join this members-only club that includes perks such as early admittance into Cedar Point, discounts on food and merchandise and much more!
Parking Passes will also be available for only $45 if purchased with a Season or Combo Pass. New for 2006, guests purchasing any Season or Combo Pass have the option of purchasing a Two-Park Parking Pass for $55, which includes parking at Geauga Lake & Wildwater Kingdom. These limited-time offers are only available from Friday, Sept. 30 through Friday, Nov. 11.
During HalloWeekends, the Season Pass Center near the Main Entrance will be open from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays, and 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Sundays through Oct. 30.
All Season Pass and Parking Pass certificates can also be ordered by telephone, fax, mail or the Internet. Beginning Monday, Oct. 3, telephone orders will be accepted from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday only, by calling 419.627.2309. Mail orders should be sent to: Cedar Point Season Pass Center, One Cedar Point Drive, Sandusky, OH 44870-5259. All mail orders should be postmarked no later than Friday, Nov. 11 to receive the sale price. Fax orders can be sent to 419.627.2347. Internet orders can be completed at cedarpoint.com. A $3 handling fee will be added for standard delivery on all phone, fax and mail orders. A processing fee will be charged for each online Season Pass ordered.
Cedar Point Season Passholders will be able to use their Pass for admission to the following Cedar Fair, L.P. amusement parks: Michigan’s Adventure near Muskegon, Mich.; Dorney Park & Wildwater Kingdom in Allentown, Pa.; Knott’s Berry Farm in Buena Park, Calif.; Valleyfair in Shakopee, Minn.; and Worlds of Fun in Kansas City, Mo. Combo Passholders will be able to use their Pass for admission at each of those parks, plus Geauga Lake & Wildwater Kingdom, Oceans of Fun waterpark in Kansas City, Mo.; Soak City U.S.A. in Buena Park, Calif.; Soak City U.S.A. in Chula Vista, Calif.; and Soak City U.S.A. in Palm Springs, Calif.
