Ohio Travel Association recognizes Cedar Point

The Ohio Travel Association recently honored nearly two dozen tourism organizations for best tourism marketing in 2005.

Cedar Point was the big winner, taking home five awards, two Citations of Excellence and three Ruby Awards including best Marketing Campaign for Best on the Planet.

Cedar Point won Ruby Awards in the following categories:

Guides and Planners (budget more than $500,000): 2005 Cedar Point Family Getaway Guide

Print Advertisement (budget more than $500,000): "Best Dad on the Planet"

Marketing campaign: "Best on the Planet"

Cedar Point won Citation of Excellence in the following categories:

Television Advertisement: "Best Beyond Coasters - Snoopy"

Electronic Media (budget more than $500,000): Rich Media "Best Vacation"
