Cedar Fair, L.P. is denying responsibility for eye injuries a Port Clinton, Ohio woman says were caused by Cedar Point's Chaos ride, the Sandusky Register reported.

Cedar Fair filed its response yesterday in Erie County Common Pleas Court to Lynsey Fairbanks' suit that claims Cedar Point put her in danger by creating a hazardous ride that ran at a "dangerously high speed with an aggressive jerking motion." Cedar Fair's response states that Fairbanks' injuries were caused by her own negligence.

Fairbanks is requesting more than $25,000 in damages. Her husband, Craig Fairbanks, is also a plaintiff in the suit and is requesting similar damages, as he has been responsible for his wife's medical care.
