More help for Victory Kitchen

Cedar Point will donate money from its 2006 Loose Change Fund to Victory Temple Soup Kitchen.

"The Victory Kitchen is a valuable asset to the community and Cedar Point wanted to make sure that they can count on another contribution from Cedar Point next season," said park spokesman Bryan Edwards on Monday.

The amusement park has several fountains into which guests throw coins. The employees also contribute any lost money they find to the "fountain fund."

More than $5,300 from the 2005 Loose Change Fund is going to the Victory Temple Soup Kitchen.
