Cedar Point has announced four promotions and one new hire within its full-time staff in the marketing division.
Bryan Edwards has been promoted to public relations manager. His duties will include the development and implementation of the publicity, community relations and media relations programs with an emphasis on local, regional and national publicity. A member of Cedar Point's public relations department since 1999, Edwards has more than 14 years of experience working in the amusement industry. Prior to his promotion, Edwards was the public relations coordinator for the park. Edwards earned his bachelor's degree in business from Bowling Green State University and currently resides in Huron with his wife and daughter.
Carrie Singler has been promoted to account executive. Her duties include managing group ticket sales clients in northwest Ohio and Indiana, executing group sales programs and developing relationships with existing and potential clients. Singler has eight years of experience at Cedar Point. Prior to her promotion, she worked seasonally and was also a full-time sale representative for the park. Singler earned her bachelor's degree in business administration from BGSU and currently lives in Port Clinton.
Karen Wilhelm has been promoted to account executive. Her duties include cultivating relationships with corporate and group ticket sales clients throughout Michigan and Canada. Wilhelm has been with Cedar Point since 2001. Prior to her promotion, she was a sales representative for the park. She earned her bachelor's degree in business from the University of Toledo and resides in Curtice with her husband.
Carrie Fath has been promoted to account executive. Her duties include maintaining and acquiring corporate good any day ticket programs in the greater Cleveland area as well as organizing and facilitating corporate events at Cedar Point. Prior to her promotion, Fath was a sales representative for the park for three years. Originally from Waukesha, Wis., she currently resides in Mentor with her husband and two children.
Britney Buhro has been hired as sales representative. Her duties include working with group ticket sales clients in the Columbus area, executing group events at the park and developing relationships with existing and potential clients. Prior to joining Cedar Point, Buhro was a sales representative at the Gordon Fech Co., Dublin, Ohio. Buhro has also worked seasonally as a group events assistant in the marketing division. She earned her bachelor's degree in business administration from BGSU and currently resides in Columbus.
