National Geographic special to air May 29

The National Geographic Channel will present SuperCoasters, premiering Monday, May 29 at 8 p.m. The 2-hour-long show, filmed in spectacular high definition, will explore the physics, geometry and precision engineering behind the world's ultimate roller coasters, including Millennium Force and Top Thrill Dragster.

Cedar Point's Monty Jasper and Rick Hiser appear on the program, along with PointBuzz member Tony Mihalic (screen name, Tony) and other coaster enthusiasts.

The program will also air May 29 at 10 p.m., May 30 at midnight, June 3 at 7 p.m., June 4 at 6 p.m., June 7 at 9 p.m., June 8 at midnight, June 14 at 2:00 p.m., as well as future dates in June and July. Check the National Geographic Channel web site for the full schedule.
