Cedar Fair to purchase Paramount Parks

Cedar Fair LP, parent company of Cedar Point and Geauga Lake amusement parks, announced it will pay $1.24 billion to acquire Paramount Parks Inc., which owns five parks, including Paramount Kings Island near Cincinnati.
