Guests standing in line for Top Thrill Dragster watch a test launch on Sunday afternoon.
Top Thrill Dragster reopened July 4 and remained opened through the holiday weekend. The world's tallest and fastest roller coaster had been out of operation for much of June.

Cedar Point spokeswoman Janice Witherow told the Associated Press that the park is "cautiously optimistic" about Dragster's condition.

Intermittent delays for minor adjustments are possible. The ride was closed for a brief period Sunday afternoon for routine maintenance, but was open for most of the day.
