Louis Zistel builds a beer garden, bathhouse, and children's entertainment.

First use of Cedar Point as a bathing house.

Cedar Point opens for its 1st season. Anecdotal evidence suggests the steamer Young Reindeer may have made its first trip to Louis Zistel's "Cedar Point Beer Garden" on July 16, 1870.

1876

1876: Cedar Point opens for its 7th season.
