Cedar Point announces it will open a Hardee's on the corner the Causeway and Fifth Street in Sandusky. The fast food restaurant will have a Cedar Point theme and, at 4,500 square feet, will be the largest Hardee's in the world.

Monster is closed for the beginning of the operating season while Cedar Point awaits delivery of parts for the ride.

Cedar Point's first and only "Christmas in the Park" event begins. The Midway Carousel, Park Plaza, and Sweets n' Treats were open for the event. A horse drawn carriage touring behind the scenes at the park, area choirs, Christmas music, Santa in a Magnum car, and a Christmas tree on the midway were also part of the festivities. The event ran through December 30.
1995

Cedar Point celebrates "125 Summers" with a time capsule in Hotel Breakers, an award from the National Amusement Park Historical Association and a special logo on flags and merchandise.

Soak City is expanded to include Zoom Flume, Renegade River, and Choo Choo Lagoon.

Breakers East opens.

The IMAX movie "Flight of the Aquanaut" is shown in the Cedar Point Cinema.

Cedar Point takes over Hardee's on Fifth St, renovates and renames it Coasters Mid-Way Grill. The menu included five lunch combos named after Cedar Point roller coasters.

Trim brakes are added to first drop of Mantis.

Soak City expanded to include 500,000 gallon wave pool, action slide area, activity pool, and Bubbles adult swim-up bar.

Final season for Oceana.

Cedar Point announces 2-year, $16,000,000 expansion to the Hotel Breakers.
