Here's hoping they take some of that topsoil and use it to plant some grass under Rougarou. :)

This x 1,000. It looks like, however, all we are getting is new trains and paint. I wish we would've gotten more immersive theming with the ride, like a tunnel near the back stretch similar to the barn on the new Thunderbird. Again, it hasn't opened yet, so maybe we'll be surprised, but it looks like the aesthetic changes are slim and there was a lot of potential near the last half of the ride, which is essentially a dirt pit.

Aside from moving a couple rides around, is much else happening over there? I didn't think anything else was going to be done such as new lighting, pavement, etc. like with the Gemini Midway.

I guess it's pretty far away from Power Tower to see much anyway.

You'd be surprised just how far those cameras can zoom.

what if they dug down and put the supports while the good time theater was still there and then cover them and torn it down. Now putting in grass as the ultimate deception plan... cause you know cedar point lives to mess with enthusiasts.

also since someone might take me seriously, this didn't happen

The entire Rougarou site is basically a low zone (and what isn't is water). They don't plant grass in low zones (or water).

One look at my signature should tell you what I would like to see in the low zone.

The more the better.

Promoter of fog.

The point of my comment was that it would be nice to see some improvements made to the site to improve the overall experience for guests - which seems to be management's focus in recent years. There are a variety of low maintenance materials that can be used on site (even in "low zones") to create a more visually appealing environment. They've spent a lot of time, effort, and money transforming the ride and now would be the perfect opportunity to make site improvements so it looks more "Rougarou" and less like a scene out of a Mad Max movie. A foggy wetland type area would be pretty cool.

doing it, and making it look nice is the easy part, its maintenance over the years that wears on a lot of situations like that. Time will tell. not saying that CP has not been able to keep things looking clean, for the harsh enviroment around it, they have done a good job. even with all the vines, the Good time theater when it was there looked decent from a grounds keeper point of view.

The Gemini Midway looks great, and i hope it keeps that way too..

I do agree. there needs to be more theming. I was always bummed that the Magnum's fog has not worked for years.

I'd say there's more going on there than in the patch of dirt and grass everyone is obsessing over.

What's wrong with cam 1? It hasn't been working the past few days.

they could put down a bunch of big stones like they did with hydra. It looks sick too.

SV ruins all other rides.

If that were the case, they could just aim the camera somewhere else.

Yeah, but then people would just stand there near the boundaries of the park holding mirrors to the camera. We would be able to see everything!
