If you have Fast Lane Plus, I'm not sure what advice anyone could give you aside from "enjoy your day".

I think I'm planning to be there the same two days, but skipping the FL+. I think two consecutive weekdays and one of them being CM is plenty sufficient for getting some good rides in. Advice is to get the all-day dining plan :)

I recommend the cheese fries, specifically from the Happy Friar location. Be sure to be generous with the malt vinegar as well ;)

Sit tight fellas ;)

I definitely second the cheese fries from Happy Friar, and also would recommend chili cheese fries and cheese on a stick for sure.

Too bad they never got around to a cheese themed frontier fest.

If you're feelin Lusty ;) Make a stop here:

Also, don't ride the front seat of Raptor at night, unless you want a face full of bugs.

don't worry, made that mistake already.

About when do they normally sell the tickets to coaster mania?

I think last year it was in the later part of April, and there wasn't much notice. But probably a good idea to figure out who's going in your group soon, as last year there was one day's notice before tickets went on sale, and they sold out within 36 hours.

Last year they went on sale on April 19.

Between media day and previews this weekend, I'm certain the park has been very busy. I'm guessing CM tickets will be on sale either next week or the week following opening day, but definitely hoping to get a ticket.

Itinerary is posted and tickets on sale early next week. I was curious if they would do TT2 in the morning or at night. Personally I was hoping for night time, but very excited nonetheless. I love to see that they're using the Magnum entrance this year. Cabin is booked and my button clicking finger is ready to buy some tickets on Monday or Tuesday.

After 27 consecutive Coastermanias ( not consecutive years as one year it didn't occur due to the Covid situation), I think it's time to end the run, it's been fun. Many reasons, age (77), the provided lunch/dinner occurs much later now ( quite a long time from arriving early), wristbands instead of the neck lanyards (good souvenir), limiting time to arrive for the event (10am), a 'collectable poster instead of some type of apparel,

In the 90s', ERT started at 7am and ERTs' ended at 1am, I remember those long days and hours. Riding magnum till 1am. Too much for me nowadays.

Those that go, give a report in the coastermania thread.

Hope everyone else was luckier than me in scoring Coastermania tickets. It looks like they sold out in less than two hours... assuming they went on sale right when Tony tweeted about it.

On the bright side though, if my one annual trip to Cedar Point doesn't HAVE to be that weekend, it could give me some flexibility to ensure TT2 is back up and running before making the trip.

I've literally been checking the site every single day, multiple times a day, and it had sold out 10 minutes after I last checked. I'm so upset. I'd be happy to buy a ticket off of someone if they can't go.
