2001 Thoughts

They need to bring back that giant racing slide that was where the peanuts playground is now. That was so much fun flying off your rear and getting 'maximum airtime'. In fact, I think if it was still around, you'd get more airtime on that then Mean Squeak.... Anyone know a good chiropractor????
Yeah Dan, I remember you saying that too. I wanna see :)

That "L" shaped area would be great for just about anything if you really think about it. Wooden Twister and B&M's bend very well to fit an area of somewhat small size!

"Your obssesed w/ that place aren't you?" (as stated by my best-friends about CP)
With working 60 odd some hours a week, and between sleeping, going to CP and attempting to have a social life I haven't had time to post the pics. They are basically before and after shots of the lagoon and where they filled a huge part in.

Magnum Is Sinking-- Your wrong about the post you made after mine...

They have changed the look of the entire park before. They did it in the 1950's. The transition from "old" Cedar Point to "new" Cedar Point.

...I see we are not studying for our CP history test boys and girls...

Give it a rest Vince, you're talking semantics now. The "look" of the park is changed every time they add a new tall ride. The skyline is vastly different than it was just 12 years ago.

What Vince is talking about is this: In the late 50's that's when CP replaced the dirt midways with concrete midways. It's also when they built new modern builds on the midway that replaced all of the old wooden midways. Also CP added alot of "new modern rides" back then. The rides were modern because they were better then some of the rides that CP had up until that point.
