AAA Preview Day

Rideman,
NO WAY has CP ever said they operate 180 days... Only about 130/40 MAX. The key to remember is week days in May and late August are the best times to go to the park. Avoid Saturdays if you can, anytime of the year. For people who live close (one hour away) If it is rainy in the morning but expected to clear up GO ANYWAY. People will avoid the park on raining mornigs waiting till the next day to go.

well IMHO this kind of KILLS the MF auction by the firelands red cross!! Shot them right in the foot IMHO..won't pay so much and the concept of being one of the 1st to ride will still be valid!!

Whats others opinions on this??

Ooops...Make that 132 days (I just counted them). It's about a 180-day season, but they're only open weekends for the last two months. Still...

o Annual attendance is around 3,500,000 (per AB)
o Season is 132 operating days (2000)

That gives an average daily attendance of 26,515 people. Is that better, Tim? :)

Vince:

Your brother didn't print any tickets seeing as how they're Cedar Point tickets. I also happen to know that this whole arrangement came together very recently, not in January.

Trust me Jeff... The arrangement came together recently for AAA members, not so for AAA employees. Yes, my brother didn't print the tickets, but he did find out through a company letterhead. I was just a rumor in January with no details, the confermation came in late Feb. I did not want to memtion any of it because it was orgionally not going to be open to AAA members, instead a company picknick with it's employees and regional travel agencies. They made their final decision about two weeks ago to open the deal up to all AAA members. :)

Vince your details are kinda shakey... i think Jeff is right. Even if you thought the original deal would only be open to aaa employees then maybe if you shared we could still reep the benifits by finding aaa employees.

magnum of MF now that is a real question.
Okay, call me a laggard, but will I be able to buy my season pass on AAA day?
I GOT MY TICKETS!!!!!!
