Are classic flumes still built anymore?

From my experience I have never gotten drenched on STR.

STR is ponderously slow as it labors around those sweeping turns. Would like to bump it up but don't make it too fast (e.g. Holiday World's Frightful Falls yaws crazily from the rush, resulting in non-stop side-to-side banging).
The pacing could be improved too. Too much of a steady creep. Would be nice to have variations in speed and a little climb and drop mid-course, like Mill Race or many others. Easy way to change the speed of a water course is to vary the size of the channel; narrows should be faster than wide spots.

Just say no to trims

I said three pumps for Thunder Canyon, right?

Last Sunday there were FIVE pump assemblies of the sort used on Thunder Caynon (they look a bit like small jet engines) sitting next to the maintenance gate near Mean Streak. Maybe I was wrong before... 8-)

One way we could confirm is the old CP Blog behind the rides, but I can't access those anymore for some reason
