Just want to see how many CEDAR POINT EMPLOYEES ARE FROM LOUISIANA..... Also What is the Weather Like up their throughout the SUMMER
Well on the point is normally a little warmer then off the point due to all the pavement in the park. You can exepect rain showers that never seem to last more then 15 min, and ocassional storms (most at night). But it will be a hot summer.
Also you might want to take a look on the site about all the little friends you will meet throughout the season. There are 2 or 3 different kind of insects that like to take over the park at different times.
One of the Magnum girls from last years crew was from Louisiana. She left about half way through the season. The funny part was a few friends and I were watching the Stern show on E! and we saw her in a commercial.

Where are you guys from LA contracted this year?
I am at the Antique Cars. I am glad that I am coming up their it will be a change for me. Cedar Point was down here on their College Job Fair Tour this Year they got about 1600 App's from Louisiana & Mississippi. So their will be alot of people from the South
Thats what i hear. I know someone was contract to work with me and i was just wondering if i would run across them on here. From what i hear everyone is excited to have you guys and im sure you will enjoy the summer.
Southern hospitality at any business is definitely a plus in my book.
Wagonboy What Ride are you on and maybe i can find out who all is working and try to get them to post on here. I just found out about this website so i am telling everyone that i know to check it out and if they have a question to post it here. I am on the Antique Cars. I can't wait I think that it will be a Great Time because I have Family from Up North So I Like It Up There. Sothern Hospitality will diffently be heading north. I think alot of people will enjoy their summer and make many new friends.

Well thats the thing. Im not in rides, im in foods. I was interested if the individual who was hired as a vending area sup was out there.
I also know that one of the unit supervisors for Los Gatos Cafe and Engine House is from Louisiana....if you're out there please email me!

Many of us are excited to have you guys join us this summer. It seems pretty strange that we always had employees from other countries, but I can't remember anyone that worked here from the south!!!!!! Let us know who you are :)
Well the More Of Them I meet I tell to come here and sign up for these News groups because i have answered alot of Questions. I think that they will after Spring Break next week. We shall be back on the 24th of April. So I hope that they will visit and check this site out because i think that it is very helpful for first time Cedar Pointers
Glad to see that our southern friends have found this site. Recruiting in the south was great and the applicants we talked to were awesome. We made a second trip to the south a few weeks ago and added Alabama to the tour. For anyone from the south who is interested... we have hired employees from the following schools:

Don't forget our friends in New England! You know, Jenn, there are no big amusement parks here (with the exception of the not-yet-tested Six Flags New England). These people don't get to hear about our lovely CP experience. Yet as far as I know I'm like the only person who lives north of New York that will be working there this summer! I think this is a good untapped resource.
