first the so called track in your picture is actually supports, their track is much thinner on the one side. Second, S&S dosen't even have a rollercoaster over 200ft so why go 400ft the speed needed would be unbearable.
Third Cedar Point dosen't agree with the usage of the "street" tires which the trains run on. finally their were romurs circulating on a 400ft tall rollercoaster the season after the MF. All logic points away from a rollercoaster and far far away from a S&S and towards a new type of ride.

Yes, they are clearly supports, someone pointed that out before, and I definetly agree, but they are also clearly supports for a TA2K.

Actually no. Stan Checketts has said that his rides are capable of well over a hundred feet. Dodonpa lauches to about 108, yet its hill, which is under 200ft, is more than halfway into the ride. The train passes through a literally massive inclined turn and by the time it hits the vertical hill it's most likely going just over eighty, since the hill is only about five feet taller than Hypersonics, and that hits the hill at 80mph. I have no doubt that they could launch into a 400+ ft. hill with speeds not too much higher than Dodonpa. If stan is confident, then I'm confident. Remember, just because something hasn't been done, doesn't mean it can't be done...

Well, first of all I dont know where you come up with this reasoning, since there are no other coasters out there that run on "street" wheels, as you called them. In addition, these are hardly street wheels. These are industrial strength airplane tires, which I can tell you are built for alot more stress than a coaster would give them. Compare slamming into pavement going over a hundred miles per hour, to simply being launched forward in constant contact with track. There's little comparison.
Honestly, and despite what you may think, I'm not completely convinced it's S&S, though I am certainly leaning in that direction... However, your reasons for thinking its not S&S just don't cut it for me.

I was at a fundraiser for a couple appellate judges in Sandusky a few weeks ago and Dick Kinzel was there.
I got the chance to speak to him and told him that I was enjoying all the speculation about the activity going on behind the wall. Completely straight faced, Mr. Kinzel said (in so many words) "It's going to be the fanciest and most expensive restaurant in the country."
Someone else standing there asked him if he was serious. That's when he cracked a smile, chuckled, and said "That's the big rumor I've been hearing lately!"
He was a great sport about it and it was pretty obvious that he enjoys all the speculation. (Who wouldn't enjoy all the free PR that these discussion threads generate?)
Like a number of people said before, he or his staff most likely monitor these boards and get a great chuckle out of the speculation and anticipation -- ridiculous or not...
I haven't checked the direct line of the footers, so I'm probably way off, but I'm putting my money on a longer and higher ramp across the lagoon so that Professor Feinstein can finally generate enough momentum to fly over the paddle wheel boats. ;-)

One note on the s&s track is that pruple we're seeing could possibily be primer for the real color.

Here's another clue....when was driving north on Highway 65 from Louisville, I stopped at a certain pointy-roofed restaurant whose name rhymes with Chucky's and asked the guy behind the counter what he knew about a new location in Sandusky. He said, "I don't know NUFFIN!" and barely missed me with a stale pecan roll.
No need to be so defensive. I wonder what Jeb really knows?
