Changes

If you could improve the park or change things about CP, what would you do and why?

Put it in my backyard. And offseason I can have it to my self.

Seriously, I really cant think of anything.

Bring back Freeway, allow crates to put backpacks and such on every popular ride, not just some, no downtime on any coaster.

Sorry, I'm gonna be honest here: This is s STUPID topic. CP knows what they have to do to be the best! That's why they HAVE been the best for many years.

I don't think it's a stupid topic, I believe it's an opinion that you can add your opinion to or not. Cedar Point has been here for years and doing very well, but "if you could imporove the park or change thinkgs about CP" I would like to see higer capacity rides. I know.. I know.. they try.. and there are limitations with building the biggest and the best.. but I WANT THE BEST OF BOTH WORLDS!

Have a good one!

Perhaps some sort of insect control could prove useful

Praying for a rollback...

Have TTD actually race.

101 on Magnum and counting...

Yes, this is a stupid topic.

Total Maverick rides for the 2007 season = 27

Top 5--- 1. Maverick- 2. Millennium 3. Magnum 4. TTD 5. Gemini

Cavs- 2007 Eastern Conference Champions!.-

I may be the only one that thinks that CP should eliminate ALL of the bins to put things in from the coasters. But, after being at a lot of Six Flags parks, its evident that on-ride articles slow the loading process WAY down. Plus, we know that on-ride articles are dangerous. I say don't let people in line with loose articles at all.

Again.. opinion (about stupid topic, not ride bins)

-Freeway is never coming back.
-Loose articles on rides really are a danger.
-"No downtime" is an unreasonable request.
-CP will never be in your backyard.
-TTD will never race.

...If were're going to keep this topic, let's atleast keep it within reason. It really isn't useful to discuss things that can't or won't ever happen.

I agree.

Is that a can't or won't? Obviously since the ride is already built it would be a lot of trouble to redesign the whole area and add a 2nd track and launch system and everything to have the whole racing effect, but I think it would have been an interesting concept it they had have made TTD race.

I was being sarcastic when I said in my backyard. I know it never will be. The insect control idea isn't bad but it isn't practical.

I realize you were both just thinking of the possibilities/being sarcastic etc..., my point was that this thread really could have some potential in meaning something if we look at truthfully.

Honestly, I don't think that putting those pest/insect control things that make an ultra high frequency sound in the bathrooms would be that hard, would it? I hate staring at mosquitos, both dead and alive, on the wall when I'm using the facilities. Not to mention that I don't think of dozens, if not hundreds of little bugs with all of that different blood is, uh, conducive to hygenic and clean conditions.

Three things you need to fix anything in the universe: duct tape, WD-40, and a hammer. Duct tape if it moves and it shouldn't, WD-40 if it doesn't move and should, and the hammer as the last resort.

I don't know, I think this thread has some value. If you want to put in a serious suggestion, swell. If you just want to post something humorous, sure. And if you really want to complain about how ridiculous the thread is, well, that's valuable (to you) as well.

Here's my two cents' worth. I would try to build a smaller coaster or two. The last two coasters built that were good for transitioning kids to adult rides were Iron Dragon and Disaster Transport -- both nice rides, but both getting on in years. How about a smooth woodie like Lightning Racer at Hersheypark? Or a steelie that doesn't actually shoot for the moon?

On a smaller scale, how about getting some more shade back into the park? Every time CP builds something new, down come 2 or 3 dozen trees, and the ones they replace them with are spindly little ornamental trees that will never amount to much sun protection.

Want another idea? I would put in 3 or 4 cooling stations around the park, with those mist-making gates you walk through to cool off. Especially if WWL is not going to be replaced by a ride with water features, Mr. Scott's protests to the contrary notwithstanding. ;)

See? Wasn't that useful?

Oh man, I would love to see some cooling stations. I remember standing over on the deck at Riverside Stadium down in Cinnci after a Reds game cooling off. That felt so good. CP could indeed use some of those. Of course, that could also result in a decrease in sales of water.

Cedar Point offers water for free. That means no cost to you.
