Favorite Queue lines

What's your favorite CP queue line? Excluding Millennium Force, obviously.
Mine has to be either Magnum or Mantis. I like Mantis's becuase they're set up in little sections intertwined with the ride, and it moves fast! I like Magnum's becuase you can't see any of the ride before you get on, and it's very shaded and surrounded by tall trees! I wish Raptor's line was kinda like that. I hate those silver and yellow walls!!!!

Y'know, I was thinking of starting the same topic. To be fair, I would've added this clause: If you have to spend 30 to 45 minutes in a queue, which one passes the time fastest/slowest.
I agree, I think both the MAGNUM and MANTIS lines are the most tolerable with the divided sections and trees/foliage.
The lines that seem to take forever are RAPTOR (I feel like I'm walking is circles for said amount of time) and MEAN STREAK (back and forth, back and forth). But oh well, that's the price we have to pay middle of the summer.
In the end, overall, the rides (ALL of 'em) are worth it.

I always liked the Corkscrew line, with the wooden covering. Reminds me of being on the deck outside of my condo. Of course you rarely have to wait in queues any more.
My least favorite line is for the Wild Mouse. It always seems to move REALLY slow and there is no shade.

Mine Ride. I like the natural feel of the wood and water.
I always thought Raptor lines moved faster than Mantis (especially with last years mantis crew) I usually found the most excitement in the Raptor lines.

Mine Ride - definitly, I like the theme around it.

Hey....atleast we're not discussing our favorite restrooms!
i like the queue for Mean Streak. it really is cool to be down inside and under the coaster, especially at night when it is all lit up and beautiful..

"I think I scrambled my brain!!"
I forgot to say what my favorite queue was... I have two, just depends what day it is.

If it is hot... then I definatley love DT.

If it is a beautiful day... Mantis, I just love the ROAR from the trains coming out of the diving loop.
Hey Sushi, you forgot to mention the "favorite water fountain" which ended up being quite a topic back on the old board. My favorite queue line: that's a tough call, but probably one I have the best memories of. While standing in the Grand Prix Go-karts line once back in 98 with a girl I had met out there, I was indeed told to "get a room." LOL--I already had one. Summer Flings are awesome, and believe it or not I still talk to that girl. Hopefully she just doesn't visit this site--(I have divulged too much info, Casey!!!) ;) My other favorite is of course the Magnum line. It's great for people watching and you're in the company of fellow Magnum lovers.

my fav queue has to be mantis....i love beeing just a few feet from the trains going by and such......i also love the magnum queue.....cause basicly everyone in that one is a magnum lover...and usualy realy nice... and the missters..lol....that fine little mist cant be beat (for an outdoor que) on a hot summer day
My favorite queue has to be Gemini because it's fun to watch people try and decide which line to get into when they are running both lines. (I'm talking about the front/back of train lines) People never seem to be able to make up their minds and I have seen many people switch lines because they can't decide. Off topic, jonC, that Simpsons quote is "To ALCOHOL, the cause of, and solution to, all of life's problems" not to beer.
Personally I have to go with the Magnum queue as my favorite. Even when it is full time always go by quickly. I wonder how many hours I spent in that queue over the last few years????

I do have one interesting story about the Gemini queue. I like to call this story the Ultinate Line Jump. I was waiting in line for Gemini and was about to go up the stairs going towards the end of the station that loads the back of the trains. I turned around and saw two kids jump over the barbwired fence from their cars. Then they ran under the lift, hopeed another fence, and jumped into the queue. I was too impressed to narc on them.

Then there was the time when I was riding Magnum early May last season. There was an hour left in the day and they were still running three trains and they were barely half full. Of course they were not giving rerides because heaven forbid we let people get their money's worth like other amusement parks. The point of the story is that the kid hopped out of the train, ran down two of the exit ramp shoots, hopped over the gate, ran under the transfer table, under the station, and back in the queue. By the time I walked around into the station the crew caught him and called security!

Despite everyone thinking my answer would just have to be Raptor-that is a BORING wait---the one thing however I do love about Raptors line is watching Blue Streak running-its fun to watch the people...
I do believe I will have to agree with most in this thead that Mantis probably my favorite wait.
NOT because of the music-and although it is rare occasion that I have longer than an hour wait for Mantis- I love the way on a hot and sunny day you "work" to get under those shade things (same with MS) and the one thing I have always loved about Mantis is right before you climb the stairs-the way when it goes down the 1st hill - the water vibrates-and you know the train is coming just by watching the water and hearing the screams...
sometimes when the wind blows just right in the woods when I am at my barn-it sounds JUST like Mantis and Raptor that "hum" when they go down their 1st hills!
proving again that I have NO life and have GOT to get to CP!!!
boy this dragged on didnt it?
What I meant to say was Mantis line

Welcome back Raptor riders-how was your flight??
I like throwing stuff into the water waiting for Iron Dragon.

I also like Mine Rides "Q" when you wait in the body of it.

Disaster Transport is also great.

-------------
Millennium Force will be the next to sink!

PS: thanks jeff for telling me about the caps!!!
**Favorites**
Mine Ride: Like said, a natural feeling
DT: A/C= Summer
Gemini: Seems short..
PT: Just love being out in the open straining my neck looking at the third tallest structure at CP..
**Worst**
Mantis, Wildcat, Blue Streak: Boring and shadeless
Magnum: Even thoug this is my #1 coaster, its a boring back and forth line with shade and those quirky mist machines
**In between***
Raptor: The line seems longer than it looks without any shade. Luckily I look up at the brake run to see everything work, etc. Plus I look at BS..

Hey Magnum, please don't throw things any plce than a trash can. Peole have to clean that stuff up and I have to look at it. I would hate to be the person who has to clean up Mean Streak's queue! I am pround when I walk down the midway and see how clean the park is. Keep our park clean only you can prevent litter. (Borrowed from the great Smooky the Bear and the sign you see on the highway.)
