Favorite Queue lines

My favorite queue line at cedar point would probably be the Gemini queue- because it's ususally SHORT!

Wait. You gotta love the people who are so cool that they decide to stick their gum everywhere! I just love looking at a wall of gum and accidentaly putting my hands across it. Who are these people anyway?
I'm split between Magnum's and Gemini's. Gemini's is great because you don't see it. You instead head right for the platform with little or no wait. Magnum on the otherhand, has a welcoming feel to it. For me, Magnum's line is quick until I get onto the loading platform. Once on the loading platform, I always go to the line for front seat(the best seat on Magnum) which moves slower than molasses. The extra time in line for front seat is well worth it to me considering having the bug sheild in front of me. And let's not forget that Lake Erie front seat view with all of that beutiful orange track in your face.

Ah yes, but the ejector seat (third seat) really gives the best ride, and it tends to be empty when the other lines hide it.

I really think Cedar Point does a pretty bad job with their queue lines. I understand that they move along fairly fast, but they could add some things to occupy our minds as we wait to ride, because gosh darn it, sometimes the lines are pretty long! They could put some sort of games along the lines, but of course, you got to keep people moving. I can't imagine that their isn't one thing they can do to keep the lines a little interesting and keep everyone in happy spirits.

Oh, my favorite queue, if I had to pick one, would be: None. Reason: If your in a queue, your waiting and your not on the ride. Picking a favorite queue is like picking what your favorite brand of vanilla ice-cream is...the taste may be a little different but it's still vanilla.

Well at least the pop is cheap in the queue lines. Oh wait it isn't

Welcome back Millennium Force riders...We all want to know how was your RIDE!!!!! CP goal #1 to beat LuvRaptors record of 31
Ahhh I remember the good old days, when the queue lines where just steel rails....and you had to walk in and out of them...like a giant steel maze I tell you.

Our entertainment was simple back then, we didn't have all these fancy video screens, and DJs blaring music...back in my day we were forced to interact with each other! Crazy talk you think? But its true, we used to carry on conversations with each other, look at other peoples funny t-shirts in line. Sometimes we just liked to look around and admire the beauty of the area around us. Heck if we got really bored, we would just stand there and watch the ride itself. As each car went down the hill and the line moved a little bit more, the hair on your arms started to rise a little bit, anticipating the ride I was about to take part on.

That was my basic experience when I used to have to wait in line for Gemini as a kid

I can not believe someone is complaining about the queue lines at CP!! I remember such as Robbie5150 when the lines were the MOST boring things and yes you either made "line friends" around you or kept your eyes down. CP does an AWESOME job of moving their lines---
apparently no one has spent an eternity on a line at another park (no names-PKI-see-no names-just initials-lol!)
and i also happened to notice that Hooper has decided his #1 goal is to beat my 1 day Raptor ride record of 31 rides in one day-have fun and good luck-
My #1 goal is to get to 300 lifetime Raptor rides and that will only take 43 more rides and that is no problem!! Hooper there is someone named Dave who has ridden Raptor over 2000x (or is it 3K?)

Total '99 Raptor rides: 176
Total lifetime rides: 257

Welcome back Raptor riders-how was your flight??
My favorite queue line is the one where no one is smoking!!!!!
Gemini, it is really funny to see the little kids with there parents go back and forth between the blue and red lines. :)
Personaly, I too think CP does an awsome job with their Q's. They are fast moving. Usualy u can find someone to carry on a conversation with. Its especialy fun to talk to people who this is their first time riding this ride, and seeing their face as the train sweeps by. The only objection is the Raptor Q, I've only had 1 bad experience, and no, im not blaming this on CP. It was like about, 95 outside, and it was about 2 in the afternoon, and the Q has no shade except under the station. I guess it was kinda my fault for not bringing a cup of water into the line with me though. I gues thats why I like Mantis's Q the best, it has shade things, lol.

Actually, i really do miss the original queue line for the Blue Streak when the entrance was in the front instead of having to walk underneath and on the other side. The original entrance was so cool and for a ride as old as the blue streak, they should have left the original queue line as it was. i didn't see any reason for it to be moved. In response to Coastermikey, if you remember they used to provide beach balls while waiting in line for the magnum. I wish they would do that again on busy days such as Saturdays. Maybe they'll do it again for the Millenium Force since the wait will be pretty long this year to get on it.

Please wait till the ride comes to a complete
stop!
My favorite queue is the Mantis queue. I like the smell of the Cedar Point & Lake Erie Railroad as it passes by, and the smell from the Bar-B-Que stand. I also liked the roar of the Mantis. My favorite song to listen to in the Mantis line is Tears of Clown, by Smokey Robinson and the Miracles.

Mantis How Much Can You Stand?
DT's line is good. Indoors and a/c.
I like Magnum and Raptors lines, just because I'm in line for Magnum and Raptor!!

I liked Mantis, but the the one that bored me the most would have to be Mean Streak, MAN that was so boring waiting over 2 hours with nothing but blue stuff on top of you! I hated that line.
Regarding Blue Streak: The original queue could only hold enough people for about a 20-minute wait. When they converted the coaster over to flush loading, either the entrance or the exit had to move...moving the entrance allowed them to build a longer queue. The new queue can hold about 60 minutes of people. Of course, the computer also cut the capacity on that ride, and switching to flush loading increased the ride time slightly... Regarding the beach balls in the Magnum queue... I'm reasonably certain that those were NOT provided and NOT sanctioned by Cedar Point; in fact I think I saw at least one of those things confiscated..... --Dave Althoff, Jr.
Nine times out of ten, those were stuffed animals and they WERE confiscated.

I know this is an old thread.... Really old but I found it interesting.

My favorite queue line would either have to be magnum because of the shade and music. Wind seeker because its right on the beach and the line moves very fast. Or sky hawk seeing the people's faces as there coming back down and the nice breeze you get every time it swings past you.

My least favorite would have to be mantis. The constant roaring of the train going over you gets annoying when your in line for 45 min because it seems like one of the slowest moving lines ever.
