Has cedarfair decided to keep the paramount name?

It would definitely be interesting to go up to the girl behind the counter and ask for a Poke (tm).

The Rugnuts is classic, I think I would get a patent on that as soon as possible since the park may want to use it. ;)

eat. sleep. ride! - Coaster apparel and accessories!

Ride on, MrScott!

coke sucks, the only good coke product they have is cherry coke. I love pepsi. Coke taste like crap 'nuff said.

^ I agree, Vanilla Pepsi rules.

I still prefer cherry pepsi over cherry coke, although I have found that Vault is pretty good.

I don't understand al the hype over Red Bull, Vault is much better.

Red Bull and Monster rule. I like Jolt cherry bomb as well. Sadly, those drinks are awful for you, and I don't drink them often.

I don't really like Red Bull either, unless you mix it with some liquor. :)

Monster is THE BEST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Althought its like $2.19 which is kinda high but its still less than Red Bull(which I think sucks unless its mixed with mounatian dew).

If you guys think the Monster and the Bull are great, try and get your hands on some BAWLS. It's usually not sold in stores (that I've ever heard of) but we used to purchase it online by the case for late night coding/gaming sessions while I was still in school. This stuff was like 4-5 cans of Red Bull in one bottle(energy wise).

CP will change the name of the park to "Pepsi Presents, Happy World Land." ;)

Man I hat that stuff. I know lots of people who like it but I personaly think it tastes like old carbonated water. BTW it is sold in stores at leased here in omaha.

CP should just sell both coke and pepsi to make everybody happy.:)

Let's Get Weird.

Honestly, people here in Ohio don't call it "Paramount's Kings Island". They just call it "Kings Island" so wheather or not they keep the Paramound name, I don't think people will notice a big difference.

And as far as the whole Pepsi/Coke debate... Ick, neither. Dr Pepper is better. Unfortunetly, that's independent most of the time. However, Coke and Pepsi both have rights to bottle it in some parts of the country. And my Dr Pepper obsession came from moving to Texas... *** Edited 7/14/2006 3:10:32 AM UTC by Keith 2005***

It is possible, as a rumor, though, they may keep the Paramount names on the five parks in 2007. CF claims that it would cause confusion in the long term.

How would dropping a name that most parkgoers don't use cause confusion? Do random surveys, among parkgoers, and ask them what they refer to the park north of Cincinnati as. I'm sure most don't outright say the full "Paramount's Kings Island" or even "PKI."

I made my point on CoasteBuzz, earlier, in them keeping the Paramount name for 2006, but I think it would actually hurt to keep it long term. Also, as many have argued, the quality of the parks has actually declined under the Paramount name - theming, attention to detail, live entertainment, food, capacity of rides, etc.

I don't expect them to really restore Kings Island and other parks to their pre-Paramount ways completely. But please, CF, make the change - even if you DO keep Paramount themes in the park.

MOO!!!

How 'bout they cut out Coke and Pepsi and only serve Dr. Pepper? ;)

It is better....

The thing is they don't have many other kinds of soda...

Edit: I didn't even see the Keith 2005's involvement with Dr. P

Despite the fact that I like Dr. Pepper, and Pepsi, I'd much rather see Faygo served in the parks. And before anyone goes making any connections between my musical preferences and drink preferences, I've been drinking Faygo since I was a little kid. And Rock N Rye knocks the crap out of anything the big 2 currently have.

^word... Faygo Creme Soda... I usually have a bag chock full of ice cold faygo in the car.

20 oz's for .79
Or even better, 2 litre's (wassup Canadians) for like 1.19. Almost can't beat those prices.

Now if someone would re-open one of the Towne Club bottling plants.
