Has cedarfair decided to keep the paramount name?

I was just on Faygo.com and there are TV commercials. What the? I have never seen one.

The old-school commercials are some of the best.

And, Detroit is already hooked (heck the stuff's bottled in Detroit) they dont' really NEED to advertise there, but it would be nice.

I am convinced that CF will drop the "Paramount" as soon as the season ends at the respective parks. (Does Great America stay open year round?) Cedar Fair is a high class organization, composed of high-caliber folks who really care about this company. Pride in their success, in their name, dictates that the old moniker is as good as gone. In fact, I'll wager that each of the five acquired parks gets a Cedar Point-style script for its logo, just like CP, GL, et al.

And IBC Cream Soda rules.

what if they change the name altogether?

Does Carrowinds go year-round or just April-Oct too?

Interesting idea, DrJekyll. The more I think of it, though, the less I think CF would go for it. Having more than one park with the Knott's brand smacks a tad bit too much of Six Flag-ism. I suspect they'll want to keep Knotts's one of a kind. But then, I'm just a newbie. :)

Canada's Wonderland: Cedar Wonderland or Cedar Maples (look at the Canadian Flag)

PKD: Cedar Dominion

PKI: Cedar Island

PCW: Cedar Winds

And PGA: Cedar Hills (Outside of San Fran)

Point only works at CP becuase of how the land is. It's a point, peninsula, of land sticking out into Lake Erie.

we talked about this before. They cant afford it. I think the real story is they can't afford to bring it up to CF standards.
