How many people attended Cedar Point...

But of course you also have off duty employees who come through the security entrance. ;)

What about people with strollers and small children? They don't go through the turnstiles to enter or exit. However, after going into the park with my family I've often returned to the car, sometimes more than once in a day, for something forgotten. Then when I return it's through the turnstile. Oh, wait, if I don't go out with the stroller I still go out through the exit turnstile... Never mind, it still works out. :)

In the grand scheme of things does it really matter, they just want and average anyways, they probably use a little bit of each technique. To get back on topic there is no way that we will find out how many people were there on the 16th of july.If it seemed like you didn't wait very long, then it probably was a slow day. I think the best way to determine how busy it was, is by using the wait time for MF, it seems to me that it is the most consistent barrometer for crowdedness

We’d get daily attendance figures (prolly around 8pm) over the radio to figure out what time to bug out. The more people in the park that day the later we’d stay.

Sounds like if you wish to know attendance numbers, you need to buy a scanner. ;)

For the stroller gates, they're supposed to click off the numbers by just spinning the nearest turnstyle, assuming they're coming in for the first time and not with a re-entry stamp. That's how it worked last fall at least.

No one told you when to run, you missed the starting gun
