Jeff & Tim's Excellent Adventure (8/24/00)

The legendary (and World Famous) Old Timer Tim and I had some good fun with the auctioned ERT event on The Force. I worked a deal where I got a couple of seats on the winning bidder's train.

We had three laps, and I have to say that the thing does feel faster than before over the lagoon. The air is all float toward the middle of the train, but much more forceful (pun intended) in the front. Very cool!

After the ERT we jumped in line for another lap, about the third or fourth public train. Good thing too, because it got really busy later.

Ticket to Ride is indeed dead for the season.

Did Power Tower's Turbo Drop for the first time this season, as there was no line, then the Space Shot where there were empty seats. Good fun.

A nice short half-hour wait for Raptor (front seat) was next. Still running as excellent as usual. Wish I'd go to the front of the park more often to ride it. God bless Walter and Claude.

Had lunch at Friday's in Breakers where the service sucked as usual. The only reason I ever go there (or the equally poor one next to Radisson) is because the food is familiar and eight bucks might as well buy something that is brought to me instead of park food. Unattentive servers and 45 minute waits to get a sandwhich are just silly. What the hell did they do to the system that the franchising company undoubtedly worked out?

Overall, a nice little morning. Good times.
