Yeah, they'd probably accept that.

Haha Jerry I love it! :) The hearse making appearances at Halloweekends this year?

I have 1 CEDR PT on mine.....meaning Cedar Point is #1 or as in the address of the park....being 1 Cedar Point Drive, or 1 Causeway Drive, depending on which piece of literature you are reading. I've had it about 4 years now. As for something to do with Millennium.....as stated before, I think you'll want to stay away from anything that starts with MF - due to the fact that the review board in Columbus meets weekly to decide on acceptable plates, and anything that could be taken the "wrong way" is rejected.

"Welcome back Gemini riders, how was that ride!?!?!" 28 years of excellence! (I am the guy in green & blue stripe shirt in my pic on TTD)

Ben - I was hoping to take it this season. But, the leaf-spring hasn't been fixed yet. I just haven't had the spare $$ for it. I don't want to risk driving it out of town with a broken leaf. But, who knows, miracles do happen!

If I spelled it normal it didn't work so I had to changed the I to a 1 and then it says its ok.

Here is the other plate that I thought was cool. This one for millenium forece. Both plates are from the michigan site.

I no the person whos license plate is Cdar Fair. When he parked his car at PKI employee lot everyone thought on Coasterbuzz it was dick kinzel coming to buy PKI. I just sat back and watched as the post got over 10 pages.

I know who's car (isn't it an SUV?) that is and it isn't Mr. Kinzels.

My truck and my car both have CP related license plates. Needless to say it costs me boo koo bucks when renewal time comes!! Yikes! :)

It's all about getting around the barrels, or over the fences, right leads, no faults, fastest time and looking pretty when done. What's so hard about that?

You could use that M for a whole lot of different rides.

We'll miss you MrScott and Pete

Good point, yeah. But don't you think they'd find it weird if you tried to sign up for the plate ANTIS or AXAIR? *** Edited 10/15/2006 11:18:16 PM UTC by topthrilldragster4lyf***

Yeah vanity plates were nice when it was $42 to renew, but $78 is out of the question.

I only pay $35 a year above and beyond the normal registration fees.

^ Yes, but my normal registration fees come to $52 already. Another $35 on top of that, and that would get old very quickly.

I see, now. I thought Rob was saying that the personalized plate fee was $78. Now that I actually bothered to read the post, I see what he meant. :)

Yeah Walt, sorry about the mix-up. Yes, it's now about $42 to renew regular plates in Lorain County after taxes. Then add the $35 dollar fee plus taxes for personal plates and you get roughly $78 for renewal. When I first got my plates a few years back it only cost me about $14 for plates and $30 for the personalized plate, so it was about $44 to get them and renew them.

Over the last few years the cost had gone up so much to me that it just made sense to me (as a new parent who has more important things to spend money on) not to spend the money on it anymore.

The plates hanging up on my wall are pretty kick butt though.

P.S. Josh! We got Cindy's POS Taurus to pass E-Check! Woo!

That's cheap. My plate renewal is $72, and they don't charge me any extra fees for my Amateur Radio plate. I believe it's around that for every car in Michigan.

I think plate cost and renewal in Michigan is based on the vehicle's value, correct? And I believe that personalized plates are only an extra $30 for the first year, and $15 for renewal.

It wasn't your mistake, it was my lack of reading skills. :)

I don't think its by the Vehicles value, but by weight. I could be wrong. Might go by year/weight. I don't know how they'd judge value. Obviously an older car with 10k miles has a higher value than a new car with 150k miles.

Vanity was $30, $15 renewal on top of the normal. It appears my plate renewal was $79 this year, Fee Cat of 19 Fee code 1, whatever that means. Looks like my Oldsmobile was $76 renewal, $15 vanity plate fee for $91, but that was a few years ago now. I think it's pretty much $79 for all passenger vehicles

I think they calculate some depreciation into it, at least for a few years anyway. And I seem to remember weight being used in the past, though I'm not sure about whether or not its still being used now.
