Loading Station Design

alot of it is argueing about bs. I guess if we kept it to the topic, then we would be fine. but telling a person that there not entitled to their own opinion stupid or not (and I have seen some real stupid ones) is wrong.

If it's a flyer, I wouldn't call them "seats"...

MrScott

I don't know if you've never been on a flying coaster before but the "ride vehicle" on SUF is a lot like a B&M inverted coaster until the cars are swung into the flying position. I haven't seen a video of Vekoma Flying Dutchman loading procedure for a couple years, but I think it has an actual seat also. If you were just being silly because the B&M version has you face down with your weight on the harness I apologize for correcting what I thought was your misinformation. I would imagine Intamin's version would have the rider sitting down before the car is put into attack mode as well. I say that even though the ball coaster is the only non-traditional train we have seen from Intamin, I can see them secretly working on their own version of the flyer also.

It is most likely going to be a looper that breaks the most inversions, and length records, only because CedarPoint only has one sitdown looper and not very many LONG rides, and the fact that all of the track peices are curved. I dont know if that is what its going to be but thats just a guess. *** Edited 6/19/2006 7:09:47 PM UTC by Jerreus***

Total Maverick rides for the 2007 season = 27

Top 5--- 1. Maverick- 2. Millennium 3. Magnum 4. TTD 5. Gemini

Cavs- 2007 Eastern Conference Champions!.-

Have you seen the ride with the length record? Steel Dragon 2000 has alot of space with which to work with, something im not seeing at CP at least this year. The length record right now is 8,133 feet which is a pretty substantial length. Since CP usually tries to break records by alot so its not easily or quickly beaten (im sure this is what they try to do, not that it always works out) You are looking at a 9,000 foot coaster. Thats 1 1/2 Millenium forces. Im just not seeing a length record in this particular location happening.

Isnt this topic supposed to be about the Loading Station Design Anyways?

Mechanical Engineer: Dont mess with us, we design your coasters.

You guys are not seeing the whole picture, there are MORE areas going to be worked on in the off season. They just cant close off sections of the park mid season.

Back on topic, the station design is what CP has in the blue prints. So wait for what comes in 2007 and just watch the project come live in person or through pics.

Sooner or later, they HAVE to put up a Project '07 Webcam. Maybe on top of Mean streak.

They don't HAVE to do anything. However, there is a time-lapse cam set up, which I'm sure can double as a webcam, if they CHOOSE to show one.

Brandon

I'm sure they will eventually have one showing progress of the ride, but not of course until after they officially announce and reveal what the project is.

I want to bet that once more track and more supports arrive, we will know more about what kind of coaster this really is. From what I heard from an Employee at CP&LE, its going to be annouced sometime early July. So hopefully their right, because I'm getting anxious just by looking at the Footers being poured for this project. Does anyone know when we will be done pouring footers?

Well lets see, call Cedar Point up and ask them when they are going to be done pouring footers. I am not pouring footers and your not pouring either. You freaks will know when they are done with the footers when the trailers are off site.

Where is the Station gonna be at for the COASTER, I have a feeling it could be right behind the Pizza House & the Old White Water Landing's Station.
