Longest Dragster wait last season

August 11, 2003: TTD; wait 45 minutes, then rain, then another 45 minutes for the track to dry. Then on the green train, the first one after the rain that rolled back. Ours didn't though. But hell ya to only a 1.5 hour wait, which would've been only 45 minutes, except for the rain.

October 25, 2003 (Halloweekends): TTD; wait 2.5 hours, the ride never opened, later that night :(

"That type of line was typical before the que was open. I waited 1 1/2 hours from beyond that point. And that was on the busiest day CP has seen in years. (Halloweekends, last Fall)"

OH YEAH. We know *all* about that day, don't we Mr. Scott? YIKES! That was something else.

As for me, I've only been on TTD when coming in in the a.m. with Joe Cool Club. So my max wait time has been an hour to an 1.5 hrs all total. Hehe.

My favorite part is the "I waited in line _____ hours along the fence."

Don't you know that's not actually a LINE? It's just people waiting to get IN line. The line begins once you are past the ride-op.

No one says you have to wait for that. You can merge in as you see fit.

"Hmm. . .we don't have anything like that. . .but I can give you this comment card."

That was crazy that one saturday in Halloweekends! Fright zone was packed. I waited four hours for the dragster that night.

TheRealCP & LOTR/CPfan,

Yeah, that day was something else! I met you at the Magnum entrance. I was with my bro and sis, their spouses, and their 27 kids. Well, maybe 27 is a little high, but it SEEMED like that many!

You have no idea how hard is was for me NOT to take off running for TTD like you and CPLady did. Uhg. Large group trips suck.

That Saturday was nuckin futs. TTD was the only ride we rode that day. EVERYTHING had long waits after 2pm. Glad we did the FZ that Friday night.

Twas a bad day in the middle of 2 excellent days in the park. I'll take that.

I waited for 4 hours one day, only for the ride to close and no ride for me...it was fun to watch though...woo hoo!

everyone here talking about opening day...i remember leaving my house early (at least i thought i was early) and when i got to the point, there was a line just for those with season passes. going all the way (it seemed) to the parking lot. then when i got to ttd, it was a long 4 and a half hour wait. i remembered they let us leave the ride if we had to go to the bathroom and we could come back to our original spot in line. it was cool though, 'cause we just ending up talking to people around us and when we got off the ride, we just kinda hung out for the rest of the day riding other rides together.

If your not having fun, what are you having?

About 2 hours and 15 minutes.

"Distance runners are experts at pain, discomfort, and fear."

Last summer, I waited three hours. Was assigned back seat, but it was still cool. Can't wait to go back in 2K5.
I waited 5 and a half hours at least, my first time. You may say thats crazy but I think it was worth it. I would never wait that long again, however, since there are other great rides like MF and Magnum. I was just very eager to experience the ride. My second time I waited about 3 hours and got front seat of the first train out for the day and we got a rollback.
I worked at the pogada booth last year and I can tell you that a few times the lines were in front of that. It was crazy. I worked there and only rode it once, we waited about 1 hour 15 min for the last ride of the night sometime in late may/early June.

I'm surprised I'm not in that picture of Gomez's, I think I was just a little bit ahead then. 10:10 was the time that they were beginning to let people in at. I still waited only an hour that day for it. I rode it twice and the line went by fast.

Someone better explain what's going on here...or...there will be a lot of explaining to do!

Hi! This is my first post here...I'm Italian, so unfortunately i never gone to cedar point yet, but i will go maybe this year...what's the best period to go to the park? Because I don't want to wait so much time to go to TTD...But I really want to go to the park, you know, I'm a very rollercoasters and parks fan, and go to cedar point is the best!

Ok...sorry 4 my english!

I only had to wait a 1 1/2 hours when it said it was going to be a 5 hour wait!!!!!
I waited 32 years and it was worth it !
Waited 3 hours fro the front of the train opening day. After that my average wait was about 45 mins. Quite a few of those were with exit or freeway passes though.

Thats right Virginia, I am Santa Claus.

Nobody can answer at my question?

Thanks

Marcoaster, no one answered because we don't have crystal balls to forsee the future. If you want shorter lines, go in May during the week. The park is slower at that time.

I own you!

Sorry...i don't live near cedar point, sorry! :-(

I just asked you what's the best period, just see what was the best period last year...sorry!

well marcoaster, I do have crystal balls, and if ttd is running to capacity, your wait should be apprx 1 to 6 hours, no matter what day you go to the park
