Mine Ride ops

Whoever was running Mine Ride May 30th were the best ops in the park! I love the comments like "Millennium Force aint got nothin on Mine Ride!".

Whats life if you never get to the point?
I liked when the said "Mine ride will take you up 756 inches". Actually I am not sure how many inches they said but I like how they change it to different systems of measurement. I do know it is a 36 inch drop though.

Raptor Flights: 34
Force Rides: 16
Hmm... I can jump off my desk and get more than a 36 inch drop :)

Hey all. I am the new assistant team leader on the mine ride. I appreciate all your nice comments about our crew. We have inches, millimeters, and all other sorts of fun stuff. As I call it, the true millenium force. I'm probably the best spieler, but the rest of my crew is good too. Again, thank you for the kind comments.

I have to say that the Mine Ride ops do know how to have fun! Well honestly, all the ops at the park really do an amazing job of making people happy. Thanks for all the hard work, and after a really enjoyable ride this year, I will be back again to ride this underated classic coaster.

Traditionally...at least for the past few years, though I was starting to worry when half the crew got sent to Gemini...Mine Ride has had one of the best coaster crews in the park. I don't know what it is about that ride; it's just always had really good crews. Maybe it has something to do with staffing the ride with people who are interested enough and careful enough and smart enough to not collide the trains.

I just hope the park and/or Consign does something about that slow approach/park process or you Mine Ride people are also going to be the most physically fit crew in the park thanks to that long jog from the platform to the second lift!

(Did they ever install a *real* pushbutton for ride dispatch?)

i was at cedar point the 6th of june and i thought the ops on the mine ride were the best they were sooo funny they were all "we're gonna raise ya pretty high,,,drop ya kinda low,but enough to make you say whoa!" and "have fun on the mine ride, the real millennium force." i thoght that was pretty funny. but when the trains arrived back the crew asked them how thier ride was, they all boed i dont know why i loved the ride!
When we ride the MR we make sure that we yell and scream when the train returns. It's got to be boring when the train returns and everyone in ho-hum about it. Thanks again crew:)
