Music?

Hey- what songs do you hear at the Point? I am trying to put some on my iPod, and I cannot remember all of them. Thanks!

4 summers of employment in ride operations does stuff to you.

Do a search (Google, include PointBuzz), its been talked about several times.

But to give you very in depth answer, follow the link below. I was actually one of a few people that put together the following lists for each midway/major ride. Obviously, this won't have anything that was added/removed during or after the 2007 season.

Blue Streak crew 2007

Three things you need to fix anything in the universe: duct tape, WD-40, and a hammer. Duct tape if it moves and it shouldn't, WD-40 if it doesn't move and should, and the hammer as the last resort.

The music is the worst part of Cedar Point. The only people that enjoy are PointBuzzers.

The only music I like at CP is when the DJs are out when there are long lines and they play rock music. Other than that, I cant stand it!

I like the Maverick Theme song, but not really the music in line.

I like the songs played in the Mantis line, and Wicked Twister station

I like the Peanuts song (Linus and Lucy) or something like that

And the Halloweekends music gets you in the mood for Halloween

The only time I really notice music in the park, is walking by the Hydraulics building of TTD, the midway near the cadalac cars, and quiet areas of frontier trail.

The rest of the time there are the pleasant sounds of Roller Coasters, guests screaming, and Power Tower. :)

GATEKEEPER-I came, I rode, I was mildly disappointed; until a second ride (rear left) put GateKeeper back on the...it's a nice ride list.

"You Keep Me Hanging On" by Kim Wilde is played a lot.

Another music thread.....

Well, the only music I like in the park are songs that are not played over and over again on the radio, such as "just dance" by lady gaga, or songs that have dirty references behind them.

Everybody knows that Magnum has the most amazing, super-fabulous music out of anywhere in the park. I'd stay at Magnum entrance all day if they would let me - just to listen to those groovy tunes.

Oh, and BlueStreak64, I have a LOT more Magnum songs if you would like me to send you a list :)

I love the baloon song in Magnum's line. Also Mantis and Raptor have some pretty good music, which doesn't help move the hour+ line any faster but its pretty good to listen to between the B&M roar.

^^ I actually never heard any music near the Twister Midway, but I guess I never pay attention because I'm riding MaXair and Wicked Twister.

Visual Scan!
First Top Thrill Dragster train of 2011!

Yeah man, totally. I can't allow myself to be poisoned by anything other than my style of music. I bring my iPod so I don't have to listen to anything else.

The iPod is a must, and it seems like for the past two years now Minus the Bear is my favorite group to listen to while i am at the point.

Very true - I play in a rock and roll band. Our CD just came out the other day.
