I admittedly saw someone share this thought on Facebook, but I liked it. It's perhaps appropriate or at least very interesting that CP is starting their 150th season in the same way they started their very first season, with the beach as the primary attraction.

Featuring beautiful views of Millennium Force and other coasters from your hotel room! A view like no other!

You can specifically book a lakeview room. It's about a twenty dollar upcharge, but I gotta admit, it was nice seeing the morning sun sparkling off the lake in the morning. (I only did it the once as I came to the conclusion I wasn't actually IN my room enough to really make having a pretty view worth it.)

Proud 5th Liner and CP fan since 1986.

Has anyone actually gone there this year while the park has been closed?

Ive been at the Marina since the first week of May. Finally, the park is coming alive again. 2 large tents have been setup at the main entrance for temperature checks.
