Sky scraper and go karts leaving

We're not interested in policing the Internet. What happens elsewhere is not the concern. If someone wants to jeopardize their job or position by sharing something somewhere else, we're not going to bury our heads in the sand and act like it doesn't exist. You can't unring the bell, you know? We're just not going to be the source of questionably obtained media. We simply have too much respect for Cedar Point and the people who work there than to be part of the problem.

Without adding fuel to the fire here, would it be possible that come close to the Winter chill out that people from PR such as Tony Clark might move the webcam just as teaser? I enjoy the speculation because I like to sit here and post my thoughts.

^thats already happened. Gotta be very watchful

It wouldn't be a big shock if they were to do away with the challenge park, because they've gone that way with Valleyfair. Hopefully Skyscraper is relocated somewhere inside the park. I also hope this means a substantial water park upgrade is in the near future. It would make sense, as Cedar Point continues to become more and more of a destination.

Not trying to be a jerk, but what constitutes questionably obtained media? If someone were to fly around the park and take pictures would those be OK to post? How about pictures taken from a boat?

I'm always at work. Fudge!

There's a big difference in taking pictures from public areas outside the park such as a boat, airplane or over at Battery Park and taking and posting unauthorized pictures from private property during the off season.

It has been confirmed. I obviously cannot provide the sources.

This type of statement is always questionable (to me, anyway), since it's essentially saying, "I know something you don't, but I can't prove it."

If Twisty was on the up and up here, then TCP either is involved in the project, works at the park or knows someone who is or does.

Posting proprietary information or images before the park does so is not cool.

Any word on ripcord or golf?

So are Twisty's photos from public property or private. To clear things up, my previous posts were under the assumption that he was on public property.

Well, by definition, he'd have to be on private property to take photos of any such activity. There is no public property on the Cedar Point peninsula.

Or he's has the super power of flight.......

He'd still need the super power of making private property public so that he could take photos.

Then perhaps he's a Jedi master.

"You did not see me take pictures on public property without consent."

Seeing the photos before they were removed, they were definitely obtained on private property.

As for ripcord, there have been people hired for the crew, so I'm assuming it's safe to say it'll be open. I hope so, really fun ride to work.

Are you saying someone cannot fly over Lake Erie, staying clear of Cedar Point air space, and take pictures of the park?

Walt's avatar

Sure they can. We've done it in the past and the photos are still in our gallery. That's not what happened here. I'm not sure why you're trying so hard to make this into something it's not.

Yeah. I draw a distinction between panoramic views of the park taken from a distance and close up, specific pictures of activities the park hasn't yet announced.

Well by this point given the removed photos, the websites stance, and lack of official response, I'm ganna just go with removal or modification at most. What will happen there we don't know, but I would bet there will be changes given all of that.

Now time to just wait and be patient enthusiasts lol
