So I want to work as a Screamster for Halloweekends!

I work as a room attendant and I want to work Halloweekends really bad! I want to know what steps do I take to get the job. Or even to do make-up! Halloween is my favorite holiday ever so. And also I don't like housekeeping anymore.

Please let me know! Thanks!!

Since you already work for the park, you need to start by talking to your manager.

Once you have talked to your manager and if they said yes, come back and I'll tell you more on what to do.

As Zeek and 99er have said, getting permission from your current manager is the first step. Staffing gets tight that time of year, so a lot of managers want everyone they've got. But it's not unheard of.

For anyone who isn't currently an employee, go to jobs.cedarpoint.com and start an application. When it asks for job choices, select 613-Screamster. There's a choice on there for lighting and fog technician as well, but I'm not sure what the number is offhand.

And then one day you find ten years have got behind you
No one told you when to run, you missed the starting gun

Also if your not employed with the park and are applying for the first time you can ignore any of the grooming guidelines in the application these do not apply to Screamsters. Tattoos, long hair, piercings all acceptable for Screamsters.

Last year my buddy Matt stopped mid way through the app the first time because he thought he had to cut his hair.

What do you do if you already applied for a position at Cedar Point and didn't get the job cause of a tattoo but you want to apply for a screamster and you can't fill out another application because you already did before?

Maybe contact the park?

Contact Human Resources and let them know your situation. They may release your application to the proper people.
