The Mysterious, possible footers

Stan Cheketts would do it. (Sorry if I butchered his name!)
Too bad the concrete has been poured Jeff, or we could have watched the concrete dry.

Our mission, to seek out new planets, new life forms, perhaps even to seek out something else to talk about besides footers that are probably going to be lampposts, and to boldy go where no coaster has gone before....next to a kids place and a peaceful quiet area with Paddlewheel Excursions...

It's what we all have been waiting for, that intense helix for MF;)

I can see the names for the Jr. coaster now... Magnum XL-20, Miniature Force...

"Popularity IS an accident."

For all the rumors floating around the point only one fits in line with umm, something that has been approved in the US for height, and how deep those footers are. Like I would tell you, suffer suffer ;)

I think everyone should be happy with it, well most anyways.

See ya at the point...

I like the wild-mouse/ kiddie coaster idea. The Jr. coaster is what I have been thinking all along reading this thread. Wild Mouse coasters are I think usually deemed as family friendly, so it would make sense, not to mention wild mouses' don't take up much space! Also a wild mouse would add variety! As CP doesn't have a wild mouse type ride other than WC. Having PKI in Ohio with a boat load of kid coasters then why not put a kiddie coaster in CP. So far CP only has two, JG and WE. Maybe an inverted kiddie coaster? The tallest? Who knows but MF was built right after WE was built! A snoopy theme could also fit with the coaster! Snoopy's Express? Nah! How about "GOOD GRIEF"!??? Spike's Oasis??? Woodstock's Fury!!!!LOL!!! Or Red Baron's revenge! With trains painted red! Who knows but I like the idea of a jr/mouse coaster! PAX!!!

As I recall, three years ago many people thought that they would never put in a large coaster alongside the shady, quiet, and peaceful frontier trail.  With this in mind, I really don't think that the close proximity of of Camp Snoopy or Paddlewheel Excursions would deter the park from proving many people wrong once again.  Of course I'm not saying that it will be a coaster, I'm just saying that I don't think that any proximity issues would effect things if they are planning a coaster.

I've got it! It's a large structure that will be used to stop Magnum from sinking! ;)

Hmmm, apparently Jeff has gotten to the bottom of these footers.
I think these footers are for a two-level structure. I am envisioning a new BBQ Chicken on the bottom level and the delicious smells rise into the second floor so that it will make the people's mouths water while they are playing "Fascination 2002".

So I'm guessing Jeff doesn't know, since he talked about a restaurant!LOL!!!! PAX!!

~~~~Jesus Freak and proud of it!~~~~~~
Or if you would have read the entire thread, you would have found out that Jeff himself said that he was shocked to learn it was not going to be a restaurant, considering the source. Maybe he knows...maybe he doesn't. Who cares? Enjoy the season, and just ride!
Fear the Mullet!
Well, I usually don't get into these speculation threads, but after seeing some pictures of this area, it is obvious that something (either big or small) is going on. The area looks a lot bigger than I had originally envisioned it. And moving things away from that side of the midway is interesting.
This isn't a rumor, but I personally hope for a water ride/coaster hybrid (those rides look neat to me and would make a great additional family ride. I also wouldn't mind seeing one of the mouse coasters with spinning cars. Those also look like lots of fun.
But, it could be anything, so I'm sure we'll just have to wait and see. And to be honest, the speculation before the park makes an announcement is a lot more fun than sitting around and waiting once the park does make an announcement.
...and enjoy the rest of your day at Cedar Point, The Am-aaaa-zement park!
I agree natas. Speculation is fun. To add something else, PKI could be adding something big next year with the removal of King Cobra. What if CP wants to silence the excitement with something big of their own?
