Things flying off...

I saw about $2.00 in change fly right by my face on S:RoS (Darien Lake) on the second helix.

I have seen plenty of hats get lost on Magunm. Infact I caught one the other day. LoL. The last time I was there another persons hat landed in the seat next to me (single rider), and I was able to return the hat to the guy. My friends glasses were in the front pocket of his hooded sweatshirt and on the second hill on magnum they floated out of his pocket and landed on the little flat peice on the front of the car (front seat), he snatched them up ASAP and we had a good laugh about it.

My husband lost a pack of cigarettes while riding Magnum once (no great loss), and nearly lost the car keys once.

Now we make sure to put all valuables into button down pockets.

I saw a guy's pop bottle in front of us float out of the seat on Magnum's hill before the last tunnel. It went back down, but it must have floated out again in the tunnel because he couldn't find it. He was pretty upset because it was just like having 3 dollars fly out of your pocket!

On my first MF ride, the guy in front of me told his wife to hold onto her new sunglasses. She folded them up and hung them off of her collar while we went up the lift hill. I figured what was going to happen next and I knew enough to duck when we went over, sure enough they were gone. The funniest one was a Phoenix ride at Kneobels, I sat with a guy who had a package of chewing tobacco in his shirt pocket. Over the bunny hills, it took off, and he's screaming "my chew, my chew!" We were both airborne, clawing at the air and smacking each other in a feeble attempt at retreiving his chew as it flew over our heads. I laughed so hard I was crying. He failed to see the humor.
Yeah I pick up hats all the time when I do trackwalks. It's cool watching hats fly off of Corkscrew's bunny hill. One time I had to do a trackwalk to pick up a wig that some girl lost during the ride.

Yesterday at PKI my Magnum hat flew off on the hill just after the station of Son of Beast. :( Hopefully someone found it last night or this morning...

On the magnum the other day i was riding it and just before the second tunnel someone's monkey (like one you win at one of the games) flew out of his seat and flew past the entire train train. It was like the Wizard of Oz movie.
That sucks, Majin...last year on CCMR (of all rides) my hat flew off on one of the bumps in the course. I probably could have asked an op to go get it, but I figured I just get another Colts hat. I did, and it's a sweet hat too.

when i was riding MF on the fourth of july some ladys hat hit my friend in his head when we were entering the station
At SFOG, me and my dad were riding the Georgia Scorcher (a B&M stand-up), and going throught the corkscrew his hat flew off. We were in the front row and it hit a guy in the very back. None of the workers would get it though. They were really rude about it too.

I was sitting in Wicked Twister's "viewing area", near the front spike and a nice cigarette lighter smashed to the ground like 5 feet in front of me!

Funny Stuff.
Hats are pretty common, because people like *cough my mom cough* tend to think their hat won't fly off, they will hold it on.
I was on MF with my mom during halloweekends and she had on my favorite toque I let her borrow. I'm like , "Mom, put it down ur jacket it's going to fly off!" she replies, "No I got it under control." It was gone after the first overbanked turn.

I have never had anything fly off, but one day when I had a bag with me, I put it on the bottom of the seat when I could...it floated!

Sunday night, the guy ahead of me was holding his sunglasses. The trims were off, and I guess that pretzel turn caught him a little off guard, because they went wizzing past my head. Also, I was surprised because the girl behind me was talking on her cell phone when she boarded the train. The ride op just told her to hold on to it tightly and make sure she didn't drop it. She talked on her phone during the entire ride, and kept talking after she got off. Some people just take the whole cell phone thing a little too far, but I was surprised the ride op didn't make her put it away before we even left the station.

Just because you can't justify charging $3 for a Pepsi doesn't mean you can't charge $3 for a Pepsi.

When I was 4 I lost a pair of sunglasses on Jr. Gemini. And once on Magnum, somebody's cell phone went right past me on the fisrt drop.

That's hillarious. What was she talking about? I mean, why spend your money to come to CP, then talk on the phone instead of enjoying the rides. I'm surprised that she could ride with it too.

Surprisingly, the girl just casually said "hey, I'm talking to you on Magnum" as we were going up the hill. She spent the rest of the time complaining about her boyfriend.
