People are just speculating, like they already have done so far in other threads. I just say, that this might be the BEST BET so far, and it seems a lot of people agree. Of course, nobody can know for sure, but I think this coaster type fits in on a lot of things:

Double footers

Sidewindin´

2+2 (if that was ever a clue - NOBODY knows)

Spurs

Nobody need to tell us, that only the top of Cedar Point knows what Project 2007 is - That is obvious to every sane person, of course. Let people speculate if they want to for crying out loud. Or should we just keep talking about 500 ft., 15-loopers or lake-tube-dives?

No One is sayong that you can not speculate, we are just saying for ya'll to stop saying your 100% correct that this is what the new coaster is. There is nothing wrong with saying i think, or i wish, but to say im right or this is that is what is bugging the heck out of alot of us.

Also, how does something somewhere else have ANYTHING to do with CP? I mean come on people get real just beacuse one parks doing something dosen't mean that CP is doing it.

I have to wonder... If the track in the animation were green, or any color other than red, would this thread exist?

There is a one thousand percent difference between GUESSING what this ride will do, or look like, and actually stepping up and TELLING us all what it will do, or look like.

Geez people, settle down. If things have gotten this crazy in one MONTH I can see quite a few people here going postal by the end of the summer.

I don't think anyone has even said that CP was building a wooden coaster since at least a month and a half ago...and even then, most people thought we'd be getting another steel one.

So you did you just miss the entire point of my post? AS AN EXAMPLE I was stating that just because one park does something, doesn't mean another is going to. Just because one park is looking at getting these "wingwalker" trains doesn't mean CP is. And saying that this video answers all these "questions" is ludacris, at best.

I was being nice and stating my opinion, this is a thread right? I don't have to jump in and agree with everyone to post here and I am most certainly not here to appease you or your idea of witty remarks towards my opinion.

Jeff and Dj summed up my feelings on this animation. Oh and Coasterfan82, Jeff knows what this ride is. People can post videos all day long and I would not expect a different reaction than what he posted regarless of their contents.

The new train design fits all the clues perfectly so to me it's obvious and I bet we're so close that Jeff is going to try hard to throw us off track.

Now whether it's launched or with a lift hill is unknown but I miss the good ol' lift hill so something that combines both would rock.

Those trains in the video appear to be Intamin. That design fits the "sidewindin" and T&T's "put two and two together". Cedar Point already has three Intamin coasters with this track type so the new trains also seem to fit the "new direction".

Is this the new ride at CP for 07? No one here knows for sure, but I'd say its worth considering. Could it still be an aquatrax? as far as we know yes. Could it be something we've yet to see? Absolutely.

Also I have alot of respect for Jeff for what he does for "us" the coaster enthusiast community through websites, podcasts, and especially the events. But I really don't think its necessary to always state that he knows what CP is getting..He doesn't know exactly what they are getting and if you ask him Im sure he'll say the same. We know hes been wrong before...

The animation definantly looks less than official but considering the lack of new info lately its certainly intriguing to us who have been looking for the rumored new intamin designs.

Seriously, I don't know if I can stand another three months or whatever of complete nonsense rationalization. It has nothing to do with what I know or I don't know. Drawing conclusions out of thin air is completely ridiculous. If you want to make guesses, knock yourself out if they're based on some kind of actual, logical evidence, but just because you find some completely unattributed video on YouTube doesn't mean anything. I mean, when people can upload complete nonsense like this, you shouldn't exactly consider YouTube as something that will expose the Kennedy Assassination conspiracy or find Jimmy Hoffa.

Thank you for that well thought out, common sense approach as to why that video explains exactly what the park is building. We couldn't have done it without you.

Isn't this video supposed to be portraying a Port Aventura coaster. In no point in the video does it say "Oh and by the way this is also the exact same ride they're building in Sandusky, Ohio."

I agree with Jeff and e x i t english, all we know is the track is gonna be red. CP has always been able to keep a good secret on there projects. Jeff might know, but I doubt it. If he does know well more power to him. If this animation is right and I am not saying it is, I really hope that it has a lift hill, and is not launched. Millys hill is by far the best lift hill .

I completly agree with this. The last two rollercoasters CP have gotten are Intamin launch rides. I just can't see them going with another launch ride.
