This clip answears A LOT of questions!

Port aventura's (and probably CP's) new ride animation:

Check out the double footers, the red track, the "2+2" seats, the lunch into an over banked turn, the side winding, the part that goes over the water...

i think it answears a lot of question for us.

watch it over at:

*I'm posting this link since i do not think it is against the rules of the forum to show this footage - it is not taken on CP proparty and is avalable for free on other places*

I think that that answers a lot of questions too.

Nice theme music, haha.

Thats a good find. Those trains are sweet. I could have done without the whistling theme music, but other than that it's good.

New Season of 'The Office'. TONIGHT!!!

But it looks launched... :( Not that that means that Cedar Point's would have to be.

That's deffinitly a possablity. I would love to see that come to CP. Way to put the clues together too.

United States Coast Guard

Imagine your favorite tv show. You've been through it all. The ups, the downs, the crazy coincidences and then bang! They tell you what it's all about. Would you be happy? Does it make sense? How come it all ended in a church? - Joker

I am sorry to say this.... but most of the track in that video was box track... what we have so far in the staging area is triangular track. Plus by looking over at RCDB.com, the guy says that this sounds like it will be an accelerator coaster with a new train design. http://www.rcdb.com/id3430.htm *** Edited 6/6/2006 10:02:22 PM UTC by Lakeland05***

Since the launch track in that video is all triangular, it would seem that the ride could be modified to use triangular track trhoughout the whole ride. I agree that is definately a good possiblility of what we'll be seeing at the Point.

So? Isn't that obvious that's what it is?

This is not suppose to be an "official" reproduction in animation of the final design. The clip doesn't show any themeing around the ride also. This clip suppose to give a general idea of how the ride will look and feel.

I know the track out side breakers is not square (at least the parts that are there by now).It might only be an animation mistake or first impressions of the ride.

I still thinks this clip reveal most of the secrets of the 2007 project.

In my opinion I don't think Project 2007 will be like that animation. It fits the amount of space they have now, but they could build more once the park is closed. Also it doesn't seem that intense or exciting, I know that it has a few inversions and launches, but we have Raptor with six inversions and TTD with a launch. However I do believe that these trains will be used on Project 2007. It's something new that no one else besides Port Aventura will have.

New Season of 'The Office'. TONIGHT!!!

Good find indeed!

Funny thing is, that in other threads, when referring to these trains + mentioning the "sidewindin´" and "2+2", most people said "Nah, I don´t see that coming". It´s still the best bet, when you take the clues into consideration. Amazing if a videoclip can turn the crowd :) But I still think CP´s Windwalker (I´m pretty convinced by now) will differ MUCH from PortAventuras, and not just be a launch-turnaround-slow zero^g-brakes. Well, let´s see what happens...

God I hope not....It will be broken all the time!

I agree. Cedar Point has a knack for turning new concept into a great one.

Maybe we can be the first park with two 100+ mph coasters?

^ Two 100+ mph would be awesome especially with the wingwalker design.

New Season of 'The Office'. TONIGHT!!!

They are not going to put in another launch coaster in.... it would be the third one in a row. The technology for TTD is unrealiable, Wicked Twister has problems now and then... and that also takes a lot of electricity for that technology as well. So there is going to be no launch coaster. I wouldn't count on it.

I think you are wrong.

Well I think we group all launch coasters together as one big lemon. Sure a launch will have issues but WT from what I have seen has run pretty well.
