Wow Paul Rubin wasn't stapled in at all to ROS, maybe thats why people fall out. Anyone else notice that?

I noticed it. But I don't think he was in danger.

Although we now have an idea on what happened to that one guy who died on the other Superman coaster.

Has anyone ever found Amusement World magazine? I tried looking it up, but it doesn't seem exist, at least not via google.

I thought ROS was bigger than that too. I thought it was in the upper 200 foot range, but its what, 216? Those helices look interesting though.

The helex looks like it is to long. It's simalar to MF where is doesn't appear to be like an out of control experience. More like a nice smooth ride on Intamin track. After the third hill MF really tames down and isn't all that thrilling.

Its called Park World and I have never seen an issue, but according to this it had a booth at the 2004 IAAPA convention.

It says it is based in England so that is probably the main reason nobody here has heard of it or seen it.

Ultimate Thrills Beond Speed aren't Top Thrill Dragster and Millennium Force beond speed? I watched it last night and I watched Superman Ride Of Steel The guy rised about a foot I watched that and said I bet I could get out of that ride with out releasing the lap bar. I thought the guy wasn't really thrilled. Anyone notice the amount of Six Flags parks There a good company but almost the whole video was about Six Flags

Yeah new year, and finally got my license, well back in august. Im in need of a trip to the park.

TTD opened in 2003...

Hey B... Yeah I know - I was just letting people know that they were old videos, not new ones! Thanks though.

CAN WE "GET TO THE PO!NT" ALREADY?!?!?!

Ultimate Thrill: Beyond Speed was made in 2002. So there shouldn't be any mention of Top Thrill Dragster.

I think I remember watching Ultimate Thrill: Beyond Speed. Millennium's at the end if I remember right. I love when they say "Now to really push the envelope", it just sounds really cool. *** Edited 3/16/2005 1:15:10 AM UTC by TTD 120mph***

Is it just me or do the Travel Channel shows seem a lot less professional than the Discovery Channel. It just seems like they find really odd people to ride the rides and don't explain the ride that well.

Yea, the narrator is really goofy also.

Travel Channel is owned by Discovery channel, and im almost positive the shows are made by the same people on both channels. Iv seen multiple shows that were originaly on discovery on the travel channel and visa versa.

^Me too.

But, the Extreme Rides programs are much better than these programs. They must not look very far for good rides either.

This was a waste of time watching these programs. They really need new programs.

They should have a Thill Week or Day or something that's dedicated to just coasters and parks and which is the best. And maybe a Cedar Point special that shows its history and all of the coasters leading up to Dragster.

They could other parks too.

And all of this would be new. (2004, 03 at the least)

The show on Friday is supposed to be brand new. So TTD might be on it.

TTD 120mph's avatar

Now that you mention it, I don't think I've ever seen or heard of the show on Friday.
