Update: July 13 and June 28

sorry, accidently tried an emoticon thing....

anyway, the one support in the last pictures looks as though it will be anchored to a wall or something. It has the six holes for the base and holes for a support extention. What's the sqaure bracket for?

the square bracket appears to be attached to the column in the background. i don't think its part of the one in the foreground.

this might be totally in left field but im heading back toward the 4-D after i saw on rcdb.com that Intamin is building a ball coaster in finland.

Somehow I doubt that they are going to jump from a layout of a few hundred feet at the most, to a layout of a few thousand.

Three things you need to fix anything in the universe: duct tape, WD-40, and a hammer. Duct tape if it moves and it shouldn't, WD-40 if it doesn't move and should, and the hammer as the last resort.

If it's anything interesting, when I was at the park yesturday, I noticed the markings located by Undertaker U. and Wave Swinger and took some pics of markings that were close to the walkway behind Undertaker U.

I followed these closely on Monday...
The yellow line of markers that seems to lead from Frontier Inn towards Engine Company is is a gas line. It begins and ends at points marked with "Columbia Gas" tops.

The red lines, if they are as they are near the CP & LE RR station, are electrical and seem to run from UR Dade towards the First Aid Station. The red markers near the train station are markings for the electrical for the lamp posts in that area.

I also checked around near the island, just in case. There seemed to be a lot of brush removal, but that seems to have been done all over the park this year.

There still is two markers on the far side of the island nearest Iron Dragon.

There's a red flag to the left of the train (when riding), under Snake River falls near the Grave Yard.

The stake in the Antique Cars has nothing written on it, and nothing it located at the bottom of it (ie: valve).

There are a few flags in the area around the CCMR exit.

There's a marked water line about 100 feet in front of the Skyhawk bathrooms as you go towards CCMR.

There's a gas line marked on the front side of CCMR.

There's an electrical line marked about 15 feet from the entrance to CCMR up against the helix.

I can't agree or disagree with that just yet. Some track and lots of footers don't spell crazy to me.

A launch coaster with a lot of close to the ground type elements would, but that's just me. :)

"We're goin' in a whole new direction!"--> new design never used before.

a whole new direction--could it be backwards I.E. The Jester at SFNO...just on a greater scale...

or it could be going underground, cause all of cp's coasters go up, then down, this one could go down then up...

give me a break ive been awake all night...just think of the possibilities..

also is it possible that there could be 2 stations? *** Edited 7/15/2006 9:56:35 AM UTC by maXaiRaptor*** *** Edited 7/15/2006 9:58:22 AM UTC by maXaiRaptor***

Oh believe me, other people have been thinking of those possibilities. ;)

haha. I really didnt feel like reading everyones posts again to see if they did or not. But i seriously think it will be backwards.

Then, not to stir the fire or anything, the signs might mean nothing at all, and CP sits back and laughs at all the interpretations people come up with.

oh. I never thought of that...hmm..i quit..for now.

For some reason i dont see one of the most respected people in the amusement world deciding to pay for signs to be made just so he can have a good laugh when he hears what we are talking about. Thats just me though, i dont know the guy personally.

Mechanical Engineer: Dont mess with us, we design your coasters.

Im pretty suprised that they way predictions have been going on here, getting more and more ridiculous, that noone has suggested that the new coaster will blast off the end of a launch ramp straight out into the lake. In which case i guess Mr. Scott gets his wish doesent he?

i was thinking maybe a glass tunnel through the water that the coaster goes through...no..not really.
