We don't "know" it will be a looper, but we do know a portion of it will be over water. Like you, I strongly suspect it will have at least a few loops. I don't think it will break the record at 15, but would like to see it be the world's longest (different direction).

Longest coaster? So you want a coaster that is over 8,000 ft long and 4 minutes long? Aka Boring

It could very well beat one that is under 3000 feet and 18 seconds. All depends on what they do with the distance and time they are given.

Yeah, pack some good elements throughout the layout and you have a good coaster.

back to the betting pool thing...I'll take July 17.

Oh and if this coaster ends up being four minutes long....that would be awesome!!!

All I would ask for is quality, not quantity. I don't care what kind of numbers it has on any end, just as long as it's a fun ride.

TTD 120,

Thank you for the luck! Actually, I don't know how far I'll get; I look good in a bikini, but my boobs aren't all that big! LOL

I might be wasting my time! LOL

But, dammit, I'll try for you guys!

July 12. They wouldnt have moved them over if they werent ready for them. Especially seeing they were already staged less than 2 miles away. I think were going to see steel going up very soon.

My thought on the coaster design. Put two and two together. I think we may see something like Millenium force, which remains the number 1 steel coaster in the world. But then after about 5,000 ft of cruising at around 100 miles an hour (where millie would end) you come up a hill much like Milleniums 3rd hill, hit some block brakes at the top, and then drop down much like you would on a first hill. Suddenly instead of 100mph swooping speed, you are doing more like 60 or 70 mph and the coaster is a looper design for another 4,000 feet. that would be the length record right there. Cruising around for more than the length of millenium would get boring, and looping forever would just make everyone sick, so why not make it two coasters in one? The block brakes between the two would allow for good capacity like millie. You have the #1 coaster in the world, why not try to follow up the idea and make it even better?

Just a thought... who knows...wheres the lemon chill guy when you need him? *** Edited 7/10/2006 9:21:55 PM UTC by Steve4Hockey***

Out of curiosity, what coaster has 15 inversions?

Since Colossus still holds the record at 10, afaik.

Please don't try and claim the new coaster in Japan, Eejanaika, since it's a 4D coaster because it officially has 2 inversions.

Ride on, MrScott!

I don't think any coaster has 15. Colossus has 10 and I think another one does too.

About the inversion record: The 4D coaster Eejanaika has indeed been placed in the guinessee book for having the most inversions. They count seat rotations, not actual track inversions of which there are 2 (inside and outside raven) and the roll after the inside raven if you want to count that.

That is dumb. They should make a rule where the track goes upside down.

Hey all. Hope everyone is enjoying there summer, I know i am...Ok here's what I am thinking and pondering at the same time. Been thinking about how early in the season they have started to build this new coaster... and thinking off three things why they would start so early and why.........

1...Building during this summer season and people talking about it can and I think increase the people count for the season.....

2...It takes about 6-7 months to build a roller coaster, and test it in the off season making it possible that this ride could be ready for Halloweekends. Just a thought.

3... Been looking on the rcdb.com site and found nothing that ressembles what they are building except I think that people could be right a new train, and design of ride(i still thinking aquatrax).

Also there is a very interesting piece that I have never seen on any intamin coaster...in pic top left corner of supports.

That support is interesting, but just because one has never seen such a type or style, just says that the track configuration is different than anything we have seen.

I'm gunning for the track layout style, maybe this is where some track will be on top of another layer of track so that a coaster will go over another section at the same point, nothing more.

A flyby like Thunderhead at Dollywood. Sounds awsome.

Imagine your favorite tv show. You've been through it all. The ups, the downs, the crazy coincidences and then bang! They tell you what it's all about. Would you be happy? Does it make sense? How come it all ended in a church? - Joker

I like that idea too!
