Welcome back seasonals!

As you can probably see by the lack of posts, the employee lounge has been largely vacant most of the summer! I'd like to welcome you back to the forums following your most excellent summer. Glad to have you back!

Thank you Jeff. It is good to be back. Just to leteveryone know, I WILL NOT BE RETURNING TO CP NEXT SUMMER. Now before all the rumors start that it has to do with how things are run and stuff like that, I will say that wasnt true. What I will say is that I thought that Zones 5/6 were run as well as I had ever seen them in the 4 years that I worked there. Hats off to ALL the supervision and management in 5/6. Yes, I will admit my job was hard and stressful at time, but the people I worked with were AWESOME, and we all had a great time while we were at work. I dont regret returning this summer, and I think it was a great way to end my career at Cedar Point. This is a decision I have made because it's time I enter the "Real World" and get a job. Will I try to visit? You Betcha!
Finally, to all those that worked with me over the last 4 summers, and all the people I met and hung out with, thanks for being a friend, and just because I am no longer an employee, dont lose touch. PLEASE I am begging email me or write me, hell a Christmas card will work. Cedar Point for me over the last 4 years has been to me a great way to make money, have fun and meet tons of cool people from all over the world (literally). Thank you and I had fun being a part of it, and I guess now it is time for me to move on to the next big thing in my life. That's all for now.

TooL to all units, please be advised I am a Signal 8.

Cheese, I now have a tear in my eye. What a farwell post. We love you man but you still have to buy your own BEER. Charlie Brown's Cookout just won't be the same next year...I'll just look over at the grill window and think back to the blow fish... Good luck to you. Keep posting and hope you make it up to S-Town next season for a visit.
It is people like Cheeseonastick, all of them before him and all of them after him who MAKE CP WHAT IT IS. We as guests are treated as GUESTS, we are made welcomed. All I can say is THANK YOU and keep up the outstanding efforts.
Thanks Jeff, it has been an excellent season. Full of twists, changes, suprises, tears and laughter. Season 2000 will always hold a special memory because of all that I have learned about myself. Not to say I didn't learn anything the past two years, but I definately learned more this season. I want to thank everyone whom I worked with this year, you all pushed me really hard, sometimes I hated it, but now I'm thankful for it. I know I could not have reached my goal if not for all of you. Dave...we'll miss you at Charlie Brown's! Who's gonna cover Momma's breaks?? Oh, and Heather...you've got to come by for Zone 3,456 meetings more often!!
