Who will get what?

I spent all last week in Myrtle Beach, Hard Rock is building an amusement park across from Broadway at the Beach. I think it will have 7 Coasters or something when it opens next year. They had a B&M pretty much erected and some Arrow? (or whoever uses that track design as Arrow is not really around anymore, think Magnum) track laying around.

Anyway... I wonder if one or maybe two of those seven could be going there. A lot of land had been cleared with footers poured there. They could have been waiting for GL to close to start shipping and assembling track.

I'm pretty sure the coasters at Hard Rock Park are far superior to anything they have at Geauga Lake. It's not likely that they would install used rides in a brand new park concept either.

Check out the plans for the park here.

One other thing you have to think about is capacity. Can these rides hold up with the crowds if they were at Cedar Point? I personally don't think that they can. Texas Twister maybe can, but Timewarp and El Dorado? Cedar Point does not need a used ride.

As for Villain, that ride needs to be bulldozed and knocked down right now. I rode that ride and it was the roughest ride I have ever been on. I hated it.

Dominator and Thunderhawk must be moved to Michigan's Adventure. They desperately need new rollercoasters. There are too many kid rides and rides that should be at a fair. *** Edited 9/28/2007 5:21:01 PM UTC by Michigan's Adventure Freak***

I thought Steel Venom was going to Dorney Park?

Steel Venom is going to Dorney Park.

I'd love to see Dominator here at MiA because I live less than 3 minutes from the park and wouldn't have to travel to ride it, it won't come here because I personally don't see MiA's operations being able to handle it. I worked thre for two years and most of hte employees there make Kentucky Kingdom's ride ops seem perfect. Thunderhawk I could see making it's way here.

CP Fanatic Revised - Why on earth would Cedar Point get a Vekoma Boomerang?? Even if Vekoma were to give CP one for free, CP would still turn it down and send it to another park. Vekoma Boomerangs are first off a joke to the idea of high capacity and second, they suck royally. Cedar Point will NEVER get one, EVER!!

Dominator is going to KD.

Why would you want Dominator at CP? It seems too similar to the Mantis, and I prefer sticking with CP's stand-up coaster.

Texas Twister? It would be a good idea if they fixed it up (make it operate as well as it did originally) and added a fountain to it, kind of like this German top spin.

Out of all the CF parks, CP is the one that doesn't need any new rides.

I found the perfect location for Thunderhawk. They'd have to move the scrambler again, but that shouldn't be an issue.

I'm sure thunderhawk is a little bigger than that.

Whats the difference if the rides are used alot of the rides at CP are old too.

^^^Thunder Hawk might not look big but it will take much more room up.

Thunderhawk would go behind Wildcat, why would they put a piece of **** in front of the amazing Shivering Timbers? There is nothing better than driving in the parking lot right next to Timbers.

^^The scale is exactly right. The map I cut from and the map i pasted on were on the same scale.

^You can still see Timbers - it would only block the station and Maybe the bottom third of the lift hill. You would still be able to see it and experience driving next to it.

I thought about putting it behind Wildcat, but then I saw this spot that was the exact right size and ideally located next to an existing midway. This way the area behind wildcat is still open for the next ride. :)

Thunderhawk is not going to cedar point because one reason is not going to take Disaster transport spot because disaster transport is not going nowhere. Steel Venom was going to Dorney Park is now voodoo. Dominator needs to go to cedar point because its my favorite rolller coaster at now closed geauga lake.

I'll restate it.

CEDAR POINT WILL NOT BE GETTING HAND-ME-DOWN RIDES.

Why do people want DT to go? I love the ride.

Ill go out on a limb here, as I have been pretty good at that lately, and say CP will get a used ride for 08.

I don't think this one is too hard to figure out - lol.

I saw a dream that we got Texas Twister and it was placed in Fronteirtown. It was called Longhorn, and the sign/theme was of an old west desert with a longhorn's dried out skull.
