X Flight PKI?

I am sorry if this has already been covered. When is firehawk going to be open? It does not look like it could possibly be ready by opening.

It's actually not just primer.

They painted as much of the track as they could while it was on the ground, the parts that you see that are still green was the part that it was resting on and couldn't be painted.

They'll paint the rest after it's all assembled.

It looks like primer to me. The track and the vertical supports are both that rust color. I thought the supports were going to be light gray and the track was going to be red? If its not primer, you'd see gray posts, not terra cotta.

Disclaimer: Tim is color blind and likes to mess with me.

He just can't come to the realization that the track is going to be a poopy red color. Now Tim, after you go have your sushi, come tell all the nice people here how much you're wrong. ;)

Anyone know how they painted the X-flight track so fast. Did they bring the track inside or did they just paint it right in the parking lot? By the way there is a new update on the firehawks progress..http://www.kiextreme.com/

Captain, that is just primer. They've been painting the track while it's been in the parking lot with primer. The track won't be painted its actual color until it's constructed. They did paint a test section on a piece of track awhile back. The final color of the track can be seen here:

The bright green of the X-Flight was alot better, in my opinion atleast, than that red... Just a comment. Then again I hate the color red in general so it might just be bias :P

No, but even if they were planning on scrapping it, knowing Tony, he would have probably told them to save it. I just wish I won one of the Maverick preview signs.

I swung by the park today and saw for myself that the site is graded, but it doesn't apprear as though they've seeded yet as I was told by someone else. They took the X-Flight perimeter fence down and it could be a trick of the eye, that it looks like there is new groth, but I think it's just where the consturction vehicles wern't driving on the grass.

After seeing X-Flight at KI Sat I do have to say that the candy apple red/chrome combo looks great from the park, especially with the white FOF queue/ride building and Racer framing it in the foreground and the trees in the background.
