year round employement

I brought up this topic about 3 months ago and didn't get much response. So I am still wondering just how you can get into cedar point for full time, year round employement, who you have to talk to and when, ect...Any info from you guys would be great
I'm only a seasonal and a semi-new one at that, but from what I understand they pull most of their full time employees from the seasonal employees who show a lot of promise at CP or even other Cedar Fair parks. Once again I'm not 100% sure but that's what I've gathered from a few comments on the subject and knowing my managers and what they used to do for work.

Most of the time being a seasonal employee is the first step. Maybe it's a bit cliché, but you really do have to work your way up. Richard Kinzel is a great example. He started in the 60's selling cotton candy on the midway. Now look where he's working.

I believe your chances of working there full-time without being a seasonal employee is close to (but not at) zero. There are exceptions.

Even if you are a seasonal, the competition is tough. I interviewed for a job a few years back and it went to someone who was a little higher on the seasonal ladder. But I suppose it all worked out for the best :)

I'm sure Jenn could give us all some insight about that. I've been wondering about that myself.
Both of my managers began as seasonals and the majority of silver tags I know did also. Jenn?? I know you started you career as a seasonal... give the GP your outlook! :)

I know there were a few that were full time in Cash Control. They are from Sandusky.
You can work at Fridays or the Radisson i believe when the park isnt open and the seasonal deadline has been reached for in park employees.
