Your greatest moment at Cedar Point

My most recent one: Top Thrill Dragster, front seat, in the rain. :)

The first time I took my son to CP...1991. He was 4 years old and tall enough for all of the coasters, including Magnum and Meanstreak. There is nothing like seeing CP and the coasters through the eyes of a child experiencing it for the first time.

I agree 100% with you.

My 6 year old son broke the 48 inch mark this year and was able to ride all of the coasters with the exception of TTD, Raptor, Mantis and WT and there's nothing like seeing the excitement in the eyes of your child. We'll be going back next year and hopefully he'll get that extra 4 inches so he can ride the other coasters as well :).

my best memory was being the first person in line for ttd on May 16 and then getting first seat on the red train and then...getting a rollback :)

ohhhh....I have soo many but one of my favorites would have to be my first ever ride on Top Thrill Dragster.

my best time was last summer. i went with three of my friends (perfect number to visit any park with). the day was a tiny bit overcast and threatened rain all day, so the crowds were THIN. we got on everything in record time and everything was open. then to top the day off, we rode power tower one last time before we left and the fireworks started going off while loading the drop tower. so, at the top, the view was amazing. it was just a perfect time.

In 2000, my first ride on Millennium Force. 3 Hour wait, Pitch Black outside, slight drizzeling rain. UnBeliveable... That was my favorite first ride of all time. It is also my favorite Steel Coaster.

It was also the first of only 2 on-ride photos I've evet bought for myself. The second being Voyage.

Well, my greatest moment was about 2am one morning after the Rec Center closed and booted us out. Something about a woman on the beach...

My best time while I was staying at Lighthouse Point and took a morning stroll on the sidewalk around the penninsula. They were pounding on Mean Streak and welding on Magnum. Some of the best smokes I have ever had were on that little walk.

If you are a non smoker, I still reccomend this walk. It is AWESOME as a morning wake up call!

How long ago was this walk?

My favorite CP moment was being at media day for Magnum. I was on the first train day in the the front-most seat (it was the first row second car...some of the camera equipment was attached to the front car facing backwards.) I was a single rider. Someone from CF rode with me. I wish that I could remember who it was...it could have been Mr. Kinzel.

I remember people looking in awe at that ride. It was so huge when it opened! I'll never forget that first ride!

That would peobably have been my favorite moment as well, Had I been old enough at the time. I don't think I rode magnum until about it's 3rd season or so. We always went to Geauga Lake. (The economical choice for young families.)

Much like MrScott, one of my best experiences at CP was waking up early on a spring Saturday morning in our LHP cabin. I was the first one awake, and standing on our patio, sipping a cup of coffee and having my morning smoke while watching the park wake up was incredible.

A friend and I were on the first non-Red Cross Raptor ride in '94. That was pretty memorable.

My best moment at CP though was the day I proposed to my wife...and she said yes.
