So i don't know about you guys but when my family and i go to cedar point we always listen to the same music. Its Janet jackson while going through Sandusky, and when we get right up to the peninsula we listen to wildest dreams by the moody blues. Leaving cedar point at night we always listening to Sailing by Christopher cross and then a whole lot of Styx.
Im not quite sure why we always listen to it, but its just become apart of our tradition.
So what i want to know is what is your cedar point music?

"Ready to Go" seems to always get played at some point during our drive.

Geeze. I think I just put Pandora on , or find a DJ set and put it on my phone.

Angels & Airwaves!

Last summer me and my best friend made this crazy playlist with lots of crazy references. Always have to listen to that on the way to Ohio.

Last year it was Elmo's Country Favorites Volume 2.

You people without kids. Sheesh.

Promoter of fog.

I believe that you as the adult have control over the music selection in the vehicle.

You people you let your kids always get their way. Sheesh.

;)

I hope it's quite a few years or a decade or two before I have to play Elmo on the way to Cedar Point lol.

Metallica on the way there, then a mix of various other metal bands on the way back. Yea, I'm hardcore. :)

I used to play a lot of 80's rock and funk and hip hop on the way up and back. Now it's dubstep. Totally hooked on dubstep.

You guys will laugh at me, but I listen to country on the way to Cedar Point. Usually 96.1 which is Huron and Sandusky.

^^ Hahaa! Love the KOTH clip. I'm Hank Hill's age (probably older) but like Bobby's music. There is some metal dubstep kinda stuff out there too that I think is pretty cool.

Metal dubstep?............no thank you. ;)

^^I may not favor country, but a large percentage of the US population would not be laughing at you Shawn. Irregardless, no one is going to laugh at you for liking a specific kind of music........or at least they shouldn't. :P

Well that's how it was for me when I went to High School. My friends would laugh at me when I told them what I listened to and that made me feel like a weirdo. Thank you for the encouragement Adam. :)

You want to know weird? I listened to Japanese music in high school (so much so that I could repeat the lyrics). It was something that was definitely a huge part of my bullying. But that's fine sine it's what I like (and it was 6 yrs ago). So count yourself lucky that what you listen to is at least music within your country. :P

I'm not sure If I knew you six years ago, but I do remember you said you liked Japanese stuff, such as anime. I didn't know you liked that music as well. Nothing wrong with that. ;)

Ridin' Solo by Jason Derulo as I'm going down the causeway... if I'm by myself, which is often the case as my wife/kids drive separate on all our HW trips.

I kinda hate the song but it's become an ongoing joke in the family and brings back good memories.
