Coasters that you will only ride once on any given trip.

The answer isn't that they "couldn't" it's that it would have been cost prohibitive as it would have required a custom design.

Eh, im of the mind that if restraints on a ride are the only thing making your decision for you whether you like it or not...the restraints probably arent the only problem. Its easy to overlook and accept uncomfortable restraints if the ride is otherwise legit.
With that said, I really enjoy Rougarou and have no issues with the restraints. Maybe my head doesnt flop around as much as others...who knows.

I dont go out of my way to ride Corkscrew or Blue Streak. Are those one and dones? Nah, but im good if I miss them.

I am really in the minority with Rougarou it seems. I keep my head forward and usually get through with no head banging. I realky enjoy it and usually ride it once or twice each day I am at the park for a full day.

My once a trip rides are Corkscrew and Mine Ride. Also used to be Mean Streak and Wildcat. Iron Dragon is getting there because it always has a pretty decent line whenever we are there, even during non VR times.

At Kings Island, its Racer and Flight of Fear. Racer is pretty rough in most seats and so is Flight, which usually has a long wait as well.

CP Coaster Top 10: 1. Steel Vengeance (40 rides to date) 2. Top Thrill Dragster (191 launches to date, 4 rollbacks) 3. Magnum XL 200 4. Millennium Force 5. Maverick 6. Raptor 7. GateKeeper 8. Valravn 9. Rougarou 10. Gemini

GateKeeper, it might just be me, but its gotten really bad. Its slow, boring, and it hurts.

How exactly does it hurt? It's probably the smoothest ride in the entire park.

The G-Force pulls the hard plastic bottom of the restraint into your hips, and its really painful to sit like that, especially in he brake run.

You must be a pretty husky guy because the new vest restraints have a very wide surface area that presses on my legs. No pain or discomfort of any kind. Yes it is tight but it isnt a problem at all. Now if you have larger / wider legs, one little part of the restraints stab your legs and that looks very uncomfortable.

SV ruins all other rides.

As CF is interested in making profit, that it was cost prohibitive does in fact mean that they couldn't do it.

Doesn't mean he is "husky" I am 5'10'' and 190lbs and I know exactly what he is talking about. If I didn't sit just right in the seat before the harness was locked I was in for a very uncomfortable ride

I do the same thing. However I can understand everyone's argument on here. In my mind, they should have maybe re-did the corkscrew after the mid course brake run. A lot of people are great with Rougarou until they get to that one little corkscrew. I love Rougarou. In fact my friends call me the Rougadude because of how much it means for me to ride it 2-3 times per visit.
