Top Thrill Dragster 2022 Status

@PlagueOnWheels - At this point I'm pretty sure the old control panels aren't being used... given that the entire station (other than the roof) is gone.

Yes, Plague on Wheels, let’s please watch using too many big words. Adequate? Control? Interface? Um… Modifications? C’mon, man. Every bit of that whooshed right over our simple heads.

I had to Google search most of those words.

Here we gooooo

Looks like something that would fit into one of those footers🧐

Any guesses what the hashtag #CP24PHP could mean?

It does but I think the anchor bolt patter on the three in the lagoon is quote a bit bigger. Looks like something that might fit in that added footer in front of ID though...

I searched PHP on google and it's either a new scripting tool for websites or a heath insurance plan.

Anybody else catch the checkered flag icon next to the word Delivered?

PHP:

Project Halfpipe

Project Horse Power?

I have to assume that is not all of the uprights for the spike. Because if so that’s gonna be a little guy

I think they are just pieces and parts of the support structure - meaning it’s going to be pretty large

Oh no, the new coaster is named after a health insurance plan. Probably a pretty hefty premium to insure this thing. ;)

The Progressive Hyper Polar!

Hyper - 200ft spike

Polar - Tophat extended to 500ft

You heard it here first!!1!

php: project horsepower.

I’m thinking we could see Indycar theming.

Would be awesome if it exceeds 500’, they could use Indy 500 in the theming.

PHP could be a twist on P2P or Push to Pass. Push to Pass is a button on the IndyCar steering wheel pressed by the driver to give the IndyCar more horsepower.

One other thought, not necessarily related to racing theme. Possibly there will be a slowish vertical climb backwards up the spike. Zampela talks a lot about vertical lifts with their lightning style trains.

Closed topic.
