Ik this isn't likely to happen due to cost reasons, but man something like this facing the bleachers would be really epic and would really enhance the "watching" experience like at a real racetrack!

It’s amazing how quickly paint fades, especially when looking at the new red compared to the old red that was just repainted in 2016.

It's a combination of previous paint fading and also them seemingly going with a brighter shade of red for the new alternating scheme. The old red was more of a slightly darker "candy apple red" where the new red appears to be brighter overall.

It also appears that the alternating will include white segments with the bright red, while the rest of the previous track has been painted more of a light grey / off-white color. It will definitely make the top of the tophat and spike brightly stand out.

Pedantic, I know, but my OCD notices everything.

They turned cam three around to get a peek at the crane and construction.

That looks like just about the limit of how far they could turn it without the camera's support post getting in the way. Based on my 'incredibly precise' google maps measurements, the spike will be almost perfectly in line with the post.

Now I just wait for the next shot to prove me completely wrong.

Since they are building a new building for the LSM launch technology, I'm interested on what the old Hydraulic launch building will be used for. If it ends up not being used for the actual ride, I would like to see that building turned into a restaurant themed to a race car garage or maybe even a walkthrough exhibit/kids play area. However, I feel like the building is going to serve some sort of purpose to the actual ride.

Decorate it like a trailer home, so the trailer trash people have somewhere to have sex other than the bathrooms over by Snake River Falls.

Don’t know that I have seen anyone bring this up yet. Rode Valravn today. The MCBR on Val will have a view absolutely dominated by the spike. Like it’s dead center on Valravn’s MCBR.
